"I'm beginning to think if you want this office to deliver your mail. You'll have to get a job there and just exclusively deliver your own mail. The amount of times I have had it marked that delivery point was unaccessible is ridiculous. When I talk to them, They said the mailbox was too small so we bought the largest one we could. Then they asked me to get a drop box to put up by the front gate. Got one. They said they wanted it down by the road, seems like a good way for things to get stolen. Then when I talk to the actual carrier they complain that there was nowhere to turn around except we just had a bunch of trees cleared out and had multiple cars parked where everybody else turns around. With room for them. Whats crazy now is I have packages that are marked as delivered and they haven't been delivered. What in the hell is going on at this post office?"
"I love the people at this post office which is why I give 5 stars. Sadly, the delivery drivers are what the bad reviews are mostly about. Our regular delivery person is wonderful. The substitute guy doesn’t like to bring packages to the door and does everything he can to try to make things fit into the mailbox. If we ever have a problem, the postmaster takes care of it right away. Our previous post office, if the mail person didn’t want to deliver it, it went back to the sender and there was no talking to the post master."
"I'm not sure who the new gentleman is that is on the 219/mountain hill area route (in the white SUV type model car) but since he has taken over I have had absolutely zero issues!!! I watched him get out in the rain to bring my oversized package to my door. My immediate reaction was to frantically get my shoes on to meet him halfway because I've had packages either taken back or left hanging on the mailbox due to the weather!! Kudos to him!!"
"We have only been living here for one month and I cannot believe how backwards this place is. Never in my life have I ever experienced anything as terrible as this post office. The mail man delivers mail to me that is not mine. He also doesn’t respect your property, he’s run over mailboxes, left shattered glass in driveways, and thrown boxes onto MY porch and caused my package to burst and everything inside was all over the place. He also has driven into my front yard instead of using my driveway even though there was nothing blocking my driveway??? absolutely nothing but he chose to tear up my yard instead. I don’t understand why he still has a job. I’m on hold right now to report him."
"I've lived in Winding Lakes subdivision off of Lickskillet Rd for the last 11 years with my family and up until the last year we haven't really had many problems with the postal service. The last couple of months have been extremely aggravating. There have been days in which our mail has been delivered to some of our neighbors and some days we get their mail. I don't trust them so I usually just take the mail to my neighbors myself when this happens; however, it's been enough to notice a pattern. Furthermore, we've had several times in which we do not get mail on Monday and then things show up on Tuesday. I have also recently had issues with getting some deliveries of my Amazon packages. They will tell me that it's expected to show up in two days; however, most of the time on the day it's supposed to be delivered, I will see a notification on Amazon stating that they attempted to deliver mail to me and I wasn't available. This is a lie because I work from home and someone from my family is always in this house. Most recently, they were supposed to deliver a package and claimed on Amazon's site that they couldn't put it in the mailbox. Why the hell would you try to put a big box in the mailbox when there's plenty of space on the porch. They then stick a notice in my mailbox two days later that says I have to come pick it up from the post office because it's too big to lift. Their service has been absolutely atrocious and they need to do better than this!"
