Burra Burra on the River

"Went there to celebrate my birthday. Our waitress was informative and friendly. Had the special which was pulled pork. It was tender and delicious. Had complimentary dessert bananas foster cake moist and good. I will be back when we ca sit outside to enjoy the river."

"The service, food and atmosphere were great. Our family of 6 had dinner and maybe because it was a cold day, there wasn’t too many people so we got to experience the place when it wasn’t full. We had the fish and chips, trout and chicken tenders and cheese sticks for appetizer. The cheese sticks were good but so thick lol The chicken tenders were delicious and so was the trout, the fried fish needed a little bit more flavor but I added some Lemon and salt and voila! We enjoyed everything about our visit but I would like to warn that the tip is already included in your check. I was surprise to see it on my bill as the server never mentioned to us and they charge over 20% of the amount of your check so beware of that when you order. Our server was great so we had no problem with giving her over 20% but what if she had sucked? Oh well, we would have been stuck with a 20+% tip."

"The haloween decorations were very good. Kids liked it a lot. Must visit place for the Blue Ridge Scenic drive (4 hour) tours. The rover side view was very good to spend some time. Takes a 20-minute car drive from Blur Ridge."

"We were super excited about eating here and maybe had high expectations. And i will say The atmosphere was great and the view was even better. We sat outside which overlooked the river and that was pleasant. We had a group of 6 and all tried different things including an appetizer. I have to say the food didn't live up to my expectations. I had bourbon glazed salmon and it Lacked flavor. Someone else got fettuccine and literally had to order another entree because it was so bad. The Philly steak plate was pretty good and the shrimp tacos were good (so I'm told). Another person in our group got that. The river winder (potato wedges basically) were the best thing to all of us. The service was good and the cheesecake was a hit with our group. Other than that we were not extremely satisfied with the food. But the experience and atmosphere was good."
