Family Dollar

"Buyers beware. Shop with extreme caution or go to Dollar General or Dollar Tree nearby. I needed a loaf of cheap bread for my birds treats since Harveys Groceries next door was out of the 99-cent bread. Grabed one of the $1.50 loaves and a few other items. The bread rang up over $4, and 2 other items rang up over the prices listed on the shelves. The rude cashier went to check. They put all the bread in the wrong place to fill the shelves since they are out of the $1.50 bread and the other shelf prices on 2 items were the old price listed. Not my fault they forgot to change them or stocked incorrectly. They wouldn't correct their errors, so I walked out without buying anything. Dollar Tree had bread for $1.25 a loaf, and the birds enjoyed it. Dollar General had the other needed items and more items at better prices and better quality brand name for less money than the generic brands at Family Dollar. I will never go back to Family Dollar. The lady at the other dollar store said they hear this all the time from folks that abandoned their purchases at this particular Family Dollar."

"One not so friendly associate but everyone else is super friendly and helpful. The store manager is awesome as well the assistant. I shop there because of the employees not the prices. Dollar tree is about 5 buildings down the road and I haven't been there once. You can't buy great customer service. I'm a family dollar shopper for life"
