Ledger Plus

"After paying Tom Dannemiller over $100,000.00 in accounting fees and being with Ledger Plus (Tom Dannemiller ) for over 2 decades, We decided to leave him because, he and his staff are now, by there own admission are now incapable of preparing and filing tax returns on time. (April 15) despite charging us $5000.00 a year and us having everything to their office by the first week in February. I was only offering to leave the tax info with them this year if they could guarantee us the return would be ready before April 15th (because last year they also filed it late.) (To which they said at that time should be no problem getting this early) They now tell me they automatically file extensions for all their clients every year without asking them. I went to Tom's office after he had been working on my taxes (or let's just say, He had them in his office for 3 and half months, still unfinished if even started at all) His staff told me that it was not uncommon for Tom not to arrive in the office until afternoon, even during tax season and I he himself told me was going on vacation before the work was complete. Seeing that we must make an accounting change, I took Tom a flash drive to his office and handed it to Tom, asking him to put a copy of our Quickbooks file and equipment depreciation schedule on it for my new accountant, He agreed, told me that it would take 4 days (which I though was odd as he could have done that in about 30 seconds) he shook my hand and said I'll see you next Tuesday. When next Tuesday rolled around with no word , I called him and it was a whole different story. I guess it finally sunk in that we were going to a new accountant and he became incredibly rude and childish. He told me that he asked for a special vote form some CPA board of ethics, Because, he did not want to give me or my new accountant a copy of my books, that I paid hime to produce, because it was his work and he did not want to share his copy of my books. He then hung up on me, I called him back and told him that was very unprofessional to hang up on a client and he said (you are not a client anymore because you fired me) And then hung up on me again. Then instructed the person that answers his office phones to hang up on me (which he did 4 times in one day) Needles to say, I found a new accountant and strongly recommend anyone think more than twice before doing business with a man like that. If he would treat me like this after over 20 years and paying him over $100,000.00, I can't imagine how he would treat someone he just met."

"Thomas danimiller mishandled our tax filing and cost us 22.000 dollars 11.000 each year they handled them. Years later we had them redone by another tax man. Billy Mathis Newnan, ga we was able to regain 11.000 back. Two many years went by 7 year limit . But may be able to sue. Don't use them they don't care about you or your company at list not ours.both years was the same amount to the tee. Go figure"
