"Room was decent. Of the three employees I interacted with during my stay, two were friendly and helpful, and one was incredibly rude. None of them were easy to reach, though. It seemed like no one was ever in the front office and when the manager would come to the door she seemed annoyed to have to actually help guests."
"I relocated from Alabama to Georgia and was not sure how the transition would go. I had researched different extended stay locations and chose Crossland Economy Studios @ 6295 Jimmy Carter Blvd. I, undoubtedly, made a great choice. From the moment of my arrival i was made to feel comfortable. The room was clean, the grounds of the property were well-maintained and inviting, and the overall surrounding areas were peaceful. From the front office staff, Consuela and Nicole, to the maintenance staff, to the room attendants/chamber maids, everyone has been warm, polite, and courteous. As a rule, you don't stay anywhere you're not comfortable. Well, guess what? I've been here now for two months....... with no complaints whatsoever. Kudos to the Crossland Economy Studios staff @ 6295 Jimmy Carter Blvd!!!"
"I hate this place. Moved from out of state with my son and husband so really had no where else to stay. 1 side of the 2 burner stove caught fire every time I used it so I could only use 1 burner. The table was broken. The toilet seat was broken. The shower was tiny and leaked everywhere when you took a shower. The water stayed warm for like 2 minutes. Couldn't even give my son a proper bath cause there was mold and the water was too cold for him. No one ever answered the phone up front. The lamp switch didn't work so u had to plug and unplug every time u wanted light. The 1 drawer in the kitchen was broken. I heard gun shots twice while I was there. There is always yelling a noise outside. Even at night. Except when the night security walked around. it was quite then. He was also an add. When he left all hell broke loose and the music drugs and yelling started again. The fire alarm kept going off at night waking my son up. I wish I didn't even have to give it 1 star but sadly you have to in order to put a review. That place was full of drugs and nonsense. Glad I'm out of there. Wouldn't even recommended it for my dog."
"This hotel has really gone down. I stayed here in 2013 for 3 months. At that time rooms were nice with flat screen tvs, chairs and toiletries and excellent guest services, fresh towels and dishes to cook and eat with. Now, none of these amenities are available! Guest services do not inform you of this upon arrival (they know you won't stay or they do not train their employees to do so)!! I went to exchange my towels for fresh towels and manager said i must stay 1 Week or more to have room service. My stay was for 1 Week but she told me on the day of my checkout is when fresh towels will be furnished or i can them for $4.00 total. This is unacceptable! My room had no recliner chair, carpet and desk chair were torn. No dishes, no fresh towels, mold on shower, furniture has crayon scribble and worn down (this is the best room i picked of 3)...i will never stay here again! You would think a property would go up in value. ..not this place! Just their prices."
"I've stayed in quite a few cheap hotels, but Crossland Studios is by far the worst. The rooms are filthy. I found hair in my bed and on my pillow. There's actually a layer of hair (and a cigarette) between the sink vanity and the shower stall which looks like it has been building up for YEARS. Cabinet doors are falling off their hinges, the shower door does not latch so water pours out, the deadbolt on the door does not fully latch, etc etc. The first night I stayed in the room I got several bug bites. I couldn't figure out what was biting me until a day later when I spotted a flea. I notified the front desk of the problem and stated that I wanted a refund. Instead the receptionist offered me a room in the other building on the property. The room was an "upgrade" so I agreed. The second room was much cleaner and lacked a flea infestation. I thought the receptionist was very helpful and I was impressed. I wasn't as impressed with the management. Originally I paid until Friday for a room. Management decided (without informing me) that I should pay the full amount for the upgraded room and basically locked me out of my room on Thursday while I was at work since there was a difference in cost between the rooms. When I realized I was locked out I complained to management and was told I had only paid until Thursday. I went ahead and paid for another night so I could get my belongings out of the room. I found my original receipt stating I paid for Friday in the room.... Took it to the desk and complained yet again. The manager was rude to me and acted as though the situation was my fault and even said I have fleas! Eventually I was refunded the amount they mistakingly charged me. Aside from the horrible management, day and night there are loitering tenants outside and in the walk ways. They're loud and use fowl language. People play music loudly with heavy bass in their cars. If you must stay here bring cleaning supplies, ear plugs, and a firearm. Hopefully you'll only need the first two."
