"Liked the show. The bad part only, when staying with kids at play area could not hear the program at all."
"Skip it—it’s not worth the drive any more. They now have fewer aircraft than you can see at your local airport on any given day, there are no longer any GA aircraft here for the show, the tacos are $16 and the drinks are $5, parking is $20, and I had to complain to get an armband to return same-day after I showed up on time for a nearly $500 10AM B-25 flight and was told I couldn’t ride until 4PM when the airshow is over…because the airshow wouldn’t let them take up passengers while the airshow is open. That’d been nice to know before we drove two hours. So, drop about $700, show up on time, and the initial response is stand in the sun from 0930 until 1600 and—if the weather holds—you can get what you paid for. This event is a shell of its former self and, after a couple of years of an unnecessarily restrictive covid format, it’s no longer worth the drive, much less the healthy cost of admission. This used to be the best air show in the SE with lots of older planes, lots of military planes, plenty of GA fly-in stuff, etc…loved it and happily paid for years. Not any more. If you have the old airplane itch, hook up with the Commemorative Air Force somewhere else—they do a fantastic job with those warbirds and have great customer service. If you just have the GA airplane itch, just book an introductory flight with a local flight school where you’ll get a full contact flight experience and and hour of stick time with an instructor. But, if you want a good airshow, unless this show finds its way to recovery, you’ll need to go elsewhere."
"Had a blast and my son loved his first ever airshow"
"Great show even though the day was cold grey and wet."
