"It was easy to get an appointment to have my taxes prepared. One of my two state returns was not submitted. It took three weeks of calling 5 times a day trying to get this corrected. They NEVER answer the phone and only return calls on Saturdays. H&R 800 number is only a customer service line. They are not "tax professionals" and can't help with anything regarding actual tax returns and suggested I call the local branch. I explained the problems I was having with the local branch so he set up an appointment for a tax "professional" to call me back. That appointment was missed. I called again and a SECOND appointment was made which was also missed. Eventually someone did contact me and get my return submitted. I was later told that it was MY fault the return wasn't submitted. I wasn't told to mail anything, regardless of that the fact that it took over three weeks to correct this is ridiculous for a company as large as H&R Block and for the amount of money they charge to have a simple tax return prepared. Appointments should be kept, phones should be answered, and missed calls should be returned the same day or the next. Very unprofessional."

"Walked into location for tax filing. Older gentleman barely acknowledged me. He asked lady in the back if she wants a client. She said "I don't know." I waited for 10 minutes No one came to front to assist me."

"I could not get why the lady who helped me could not take my 1098-C for a car donation i made to charity.She also struggled with my schedule C.I ran my files through turbo-tax before consulting HRB just to see what breaks i would get after the donation—there was infact a sizeable break ,and yet after HRB , i had to pay back some money to IRS —I felt short changed!"
