"Although they didn't have the specific item I needed, they went above and beyond in helping me find it. They searched the Internet and found four options for me to try. One was to order it for me but I was dealing with a time issue. The second was to check with other Ace Hardware stores. Third was to check a competitor and the last was to order it online. Their goal wasn't just to sell me something; they wanted me to have what I wanted with the least amount of effort involved."
"I live in Loganville and this Ace being in the city would be a convenient choice. Normally I go to this Ace to get a item that I can't get from Home Depot or Lowes and plus better help on finding items. The workers there see somewhat nice and helpful but to me it felt fake but I still rolled with it because they had what I needed. But this time true colors were seen if you no what i mean. I know there is high a invasion of Blacks and Hispanics in Loganville and some may fill some kinda way but that's the feeling i got when I went into the store today. I was greeted by one of the cashiers and they ask me if they could help me find something and I quickly replied yes, I need help in plumbing. They sent me to isle 10 and said someone would be with you shortly. So I went to isle 10 and waited 5 minutes and no one came so I tried to find the item myselfs. 10 minutes pass and take this, the store was not that busy and then I over hear one of the workers asking other people do they need help and all awhile I'm in the isle looking puzzled on what to get. A worker walks pass my isle and looks at me and proceeds to ask another customer can they help them find anything. So I'm alittle frustrated at this point and goes back up to the front to have them call for assistance again and I then returned back to the isle waiting at the beginning of isle so they would know I was the one that needed help. 5 minutes passed and nothing, the same worker walks pass me and says nothing and go straight to another customer asking them could they help them find an item. Now I'm pissed but cool and patient. I go back to the front and ask for the manager, they attempt to call him and I waited another 5-7 minutes and no manager. Now I'm feeling disrespected of my time and money to be spent there. So I tell them nevermind I'll just leave because it seems as if the customer service was not in my favor as a black man today. They worker went to all Caucasians to assist but when it came to me a black man I was overlook. Like I said the atmophere of the store feels somewhat prejudice. So I'm putting all on notice who reads this review that is of black and brown decent to boycott until they learn some manners on servcing all people equally."
"Ace hardware is one of the few places left that still feels like they care about the customer. And while not all Ace hardwares are the same, this one is exceptional. I was in on a rainy day to waste time and pick up some odds and ends, I must’ve been asked a dozen times by a half dozen people if I needed any help. I didn’t but, plenty of other people did and I watched employee after employee help anyone who needed it. I prefer this place over a big box store any day and recommend you stop in a Hill’s Ace Hardware whenever you can."
"This was my first time here, lured by a great price on fire wood. Quality of firewood is excellent, very happy with net price at 5.99, cheapest I’ve found for kiln dried. Burns a long time to. As or the store, I really like it. A much more cost version the larger stores, I’ll deffo be going here again."
"Went to this Ace Hardware for the first time, and was quite impressed. This location is much larger than most Ace’s I have been to, and it had a lot more selection. The staff was very helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed. It may not be the size of a Home Depot or Lowe’s, but it makes up for that with personal service, and fast transactions"
