"We have been trusting Affinity Paints & Decor for all of our paint for over 5 years. Byron and Yolanda are some of the most knowledgeable, friendly and caring people you'll ever meet. With every single project, both big and small, they truly care about your success--whether you are doing a DIY or if you are working with them to accomplish your paint project. We have worked with Byron on two projects for our home. The first, done in 2018, was our double-decker deck which was very old when we bought the house and had not been taken care of by the previous owners. Byron worked with us to repair rotted boards as well as sand and stain the entire deck in a two-tone paint job. Byron worked quickly despite a very challenging project--the deck was not only large, but the wood was "thirsty" and kept sucking up all of the stain. He saw the project through to the end and I can't stress enough how happy we are with his work. Not only does it look gorgeous, but it helped to create an additional living space for us in our home AND protect our gorgeous deck, which was one of the features we loved the most when we bought our home. Most recently, Byron painted our main bedroom for us. We knew we wanted to go dark, and we wanted to paint the ceiling dark too. Working with dark paint can be challenging, and we did not feel comfortable doing the ceiling job ourselves. Not only that, but there was a large hole around the ceiling fan that we needed patched, and Byron worked with us to fix that as well. We asked Byron to make our vision a reality. He worked to meticulously paint a straight line to color block the walls all the way around the room, which had several tight spaces and odd nooks. Not only that, but the walls had a textured finish, which is notoriously hard to get a straight line on. Byron absolutely nailed the finish and we cannot be happier with the work. Our bedroom is now our favorite place to be, and feels like a special retreat just for us. We cannot recommend Affinity Paints & Decor enough.
