"This review is based on our 2022 tax year filing. Nicole is the representative who prepared our taxes. In February my wife went in to have our taxes completed and submitted. BLUF: Nicole confirmed the amount we should be getting returned and then submitted the taxes. Moments later it was more than 12k short of what we were owed back. Software was the excuse but it seems like gross incompetence or negligence. In March, because we had to wait for the partial incorrect return to arrive we went in to refill the amendment. We were told 6-12 weeks and now we are outside of 12 weeks with no answer. We were told to call GA revenue dept who only routes your calls to an automated answer and explicitly says they can’t give you any more information than you yourself can see on their website. Well, go figure we can’t see any helpful information on their website and it shows no amendments pending for us. We call this H&R Block location and they tell us to call GA rev dept and talk to a person…suuuuuper unhelpful. Would not recommend, will actively recommend other locations and service providers. 16 weeks and frustration is all you get here."
