"Murph's Surf really went above and beyond to make my odd request to help a stranger make my proposal for engagement happen. Even when the weather didn't cooperate on our original booking, Austin and his team went above and beyond to clear downed trees from a series of bad back to back storms, to help make the proposal happen. They communicated the whole time and really provided unbeatable customer service. I truly appreciate the entire experience. Thank you so much!"

"Great experience on raft trip (4 people)! Really appreciate the way they stagger the bookings so that you basically have the whole river to yourself with no other rafters/kayakers around the entire time. The team was very helpful and friendly. Our only suggestion is maybe have a rope to throw to rafters at the end at the pullout zone to help inexperienced trippers get to the proper spot, we were told that if we missed our raft being caught at the end, we would have to call 911 and get rescued 4 hours later. We loved the entire experience and will be doing this again!"

"TUBING! Huge shout out to the crew at Murph's Surf @ The Mill on Etowah. If you have a group that wants to go tubing together, this is the place you want to be. Murph's Surf made it easy and enjoyable. I called a week prior to let them know we had a group and wanted to tube together. They took my reservation over the phone, filled out the necessary information and sent me a confirmation link. SO EASY! Day of tubing, they were diligent with explaining where to go on the river, they allowed coolers and the float was running about 2.5 hours. Took us a solid 3 hours but we stopped on a few of the sandbars to take a few pictures. Love this place and we will be back!"

"My husband and I did a kayak float tour. Overall we had fun and the staff was absolutely awesome. Unfortunately it is advertised as a 3-4 hr float but we were finished in 1.5 hrs despite not kayaking "that" hard. We just felt it was a bit pricey for the duration of the trip. May have been a longer journey if the water level was higher. Bring bug spray!"

"The 2 hour Kayak was a great afternoon activity. Whether you live here or you’re from out of town, it’s an easy river to navigate even for older folks. Murphs drops you at one end and picks you up. Great time."
