"Very clean and organzed thrift store. We found many good deals here. We shop NLB stores for the service they provide to men in need, but this is the best one we've patronized."
"Do not use this organization for furniture donation/pickup. I had them scheduled this morning to pick up old furniture right in line with my new furniture being delivered shortly after, and these guys refused to pick it up because it wasn’t “safe” to park on the right line of a 4 lane city road, which is what literally EVERY other pickup/delivery company (including RTG right after this) does since my driveway is short and steep. When I gave them other options and stressed it would be a gigantic mess for me if they didn’t (also btw, they’ve picked up from me before), the guy said it wasn’t “their problem”. Their stupid “safety” policies are without logic and caused me undue headaches this morning, and for that I will NEVER EVER donate anything to them again. I suggest booking with Salvation Army pickup."
"I like coming here for several reasons; The employees are friendly, kind, and helpful. I like to RRR, & the organization funding goes to people who many times NEED a hand."
"After nitpicking through what they couldn't take, the people that came to my house broke one of my wife's lamps that she's had for 20 years and they broke glass that goes with our nativity set. I guess they do good work as a charity/thrift store but I wouldn't have them come to my house to pick stuff up again."
"I just started volunteering at NLB. I thoroughly enjoy the duties. I am slowly but surely learning all that is involved from the time the donations are received and processed to the time they are placed in the showroom on the racks for sale. Nice furniture, jewelry and other accessories. All items are of good quality and in great shape. Many name brand items. This is a fantastic, thrift, donation store. Everyone is so friendly and helpful in teaching me the procedures. I like volunteering so much that I’ve asked for an employment application to work there P/T. Hoping to be called in for an interview! I am very impressed with this store!"
