"The customer service here is horrible. I went here looking for a refrigerator and there were about five or six employees working. No one greeted me. No one asked me if I needed help while I was looking around and I refuse to spend my hard earned money at a store when I’m not getting proper customer service. Employees need to be trained on how to sell items and not to stand around and talk to each other. This is ridiculous."
"Conn's is appropriately named con, because they con you into believing their prices. They rope you into a finance plan that is not what you agree to and your bill has all these charges that you don't understand. There are so many angry people in the store because of their unscrupulous practices. The customer service is very unhelpful."
"I visited the store on 10/1/23 selected the item I wanted was told that the item would be available for pickup on 10/2/23. I arrange to pick up on the 10/3/23 between 12-1pm got to the store to pick up item was told to go to loading area someone would bring item out waited 15-20 minutes no one came out. When back in store was told the manager would meet me at loading door with again waited another 20 minutes no one came out went back in the store ask to speak with manager was told she is on a conference call so I'm waiting on someone to come out that was never coming. Finally she walks over clueless to anything telling me she doesn't know anything she was on a conference call. I explained to her the now 40 minutes they have had me waiting in the loading dock and no one ever came out, call me or anything to tell me what's going on and that I had enter the store twice still no one said anything. Than she says to me oh the item hasn't come in and I'm heated at this point because it never occurred to anyone to come out and tell me this instead have me to continue waiting in my car for an item that's not there. So she states item should arrive the end of day and I can pick up the following day. The following day comes and no call so I contact store to follow up young man that answer states he doesn't know where the item is are why it's not there and didn't know what to tell me. This was my first time ever shopping with this company and very last. Very unprofessional and could care less about the customer. Customer service is non-existent."
"I wish I could post this with zero stars! I have NEVER dealt with a company that has so little concern about doing the right thing. Conn's does not care at all about the customer. We went to the new Douglasville store in May 2023 looking for a rocker recliner. we were very clear that we specifically wanted a rocker (or glider). we found one my wife liked and then we were offered a $100 "power UPGRADE". When the $1000 chair was delivered, they showed my wife that the power worked but she didn't think to make sure it glided because it looked exactly like the one we tried at the store. when we realized it did not glide it was about 3 hours later. I IMMEDIATELY called Conn's Customer Service to report the mistake and was referred back to the store. I tried calling the store several times that evening but my call was never answered. Long story short, after several days of back and forth though the store manager (because he was told he was not allowed to give out his bosses info to customers), I was told that there were no refunds or exchanges on furniture once we signed the delivery receipt, period. His boss never got back with me, even though I gave the store manager all my contact info. I had no other recourse but to dispute the charge with American Express. Conn's response was that we bought a Power Recliner and those do not glide. (Even though it was sold to us an UPGRADE to the glider recliner). Nowhere on any of the display signs, sales receipt or anywhere else does it say that Power "UPGRADE" deleted the glider feature. When I originally asked the store manager about this when we started the exchange request, no one he called at Conn's had that information either. Bottom line, we are stuck with $1000 recliner that doesn't rock or glide after we specifically thought we were buying a glider recliner to rock our grandson."
