SHINY NAILS

"Used to come here regularly for 5-6 months and i usually would just get regular mani/pedi because I found all the nail options of SNS, tips, acrylics to be too confusing and intimidating. I started getting dip powder nails slowly for special occasions but would just have questions about the colors, damage and cost that I would politely ask and always tip 15-20% too. But the lady is just so rude and has an issue with clarifying the costs and keeps upselling me stuff. She had an issue even if I would just try to clean off the powder dust in between. She’ll make you feel bad if you’re trying to stay inside a budget and asking how much each of the additional services is gonna cost before taking them. The place is anyways not kept clean and to top it all the technician is just rude. Never going there again, plenty of options around."

"Nails done by diem like carpe diem. She did my nails great the first time. Went back a second time and she left air bubbles on 2 of my nails on the left. She grinder my nail till it was a messed up too. Look at the pic. Plus charged me $5 more. Terrible. I didn’t notice till I left and am not going back !"

"Shiny Nails always aims to please! You leave feeling satisfied and refreshed. They always do an excellent job on my nails and toes. If you have a particular design you want done, 9/10 they will be able to duplicate it or do something better! Definitely visit this place!"

"I attempted to try a new place and it was such a disappointment.This place deserves 0 stars.I wish whatever issue Asian women now have toward Black women all of a sudden would cease .I wish a regular day at the nail salon didn’t feel like blatant robbery . I started by asking for the price for a pink and white fill in and polish change for toes ,since price list no longer exist .She went back and forth instead of directly answering until she pulled a price out of the clear blue sky of $50 for a fill in no design ,I agreed . You could feel the tension as she thought about how to deliver the most basic service she could muster for $50. I chose 2 designs of a simple white French outline and was told it would be an additional $15 .I agreed for peace as if I can’t do simple math .3x4 is 12 all day but go off. She proceeds to charge me the $15 and complete her two line design .I ask for polish that was never offered .I asked for a half brush polish not even a full length of polish and was told I would be charged $3 for a design …again how 15 was reached for 4 nails is crazy but go off .)3.75 what a joke I don’t like the sloppy end job of this glitter disaster and she tells me that I should’ve told her before it dried and next time…blah blah blah (IT WOULD NEVER BE A NEXT TIME ). She then ask do I still want my toes done and ask the color .Then she ask that I pay first before I get a pedicure-who does that ?I said no and she then ask for me to leave .I paid the money because I’m not a thief of service even though it was poor and she was expecting me to refuse payment . Go where you’re appreciated .Go where service is decent .There is a sign promising of you leave 5 stars you get 10% off don’t be fouled .This place is the worst ! Eat that receipt weirdo!!God was on my side today !"
