"I have been here a few times and have been disappointed with the results. However this last time, it took 2 hours for a simple fill in, my nails were uneven and only a week later they are already starting to lift. I really wanted to give them a chance but I am way to disappointed with the results to ever spend my money here again"
"I have been a LOYAL customer for about 14 years, I have referred several people to the shop - my own sister has been going for two years with out so much of a thank you or discount on a service. Today I felt disrespected, unappreciated and unhappy about the experience and quality of their work. I was insulted (body shamed, although I look good) and talked about in their native language with the other ladies darting their eyes back and forth at me. I am OVER IT!!! I was told I was picky because I asked for polish instead of gel polish on my toes (gel costs more). I kept communicating to file my toe nails low and the lady could not seem to understand that. Overall, their pedicures are mediocre and they should train technicians. For what they charge I should not have to go home and fix my toes every time I return from there or buy products to maintain for 2 weeks. Over the 14 years I will only go to 2 nail techs my services because the others are not that good and it is a revolving door of technicians there. One of the best for pedicures (Jasmine) left years ago and no one since has been as good has her except the owners and they won't train anyone to be as good as them or and they do not do pedicures unless you need acrylic. The lady today (I will put the accountability on the owners not the nail tech) was trying to upsell me with parafin and I told her no. I did not choose gel I had not finalized a color but because I came with gel she assumed that is what I wanted. Before she polished I confirmed regular polish so it is not like she had to remove anything but started raising her voice telling me what I said snatching the toe separators off my feet - it was ridiculous. I think downgrading from gel to regular polish infuriated her for some reason. Regardless I have the right to decide what I want on my nails. After 14 years, I think they have become too familiar with me. I am offended and disappointed Chao who I have known a long time. I expect better service and appreciation for being a long time customer and definitely did not get that from being body shamed and blamed. I asked for white showed her the color from the color pallet stick and my bag AND she still put a beige kind of color on my nails. When I asked to dip the final layer in white she seemed annoyed... How does me spending my money requesting the color that I want annoy you? Mind you no one had to remove anything, fix anything, just top layer white. Told me she was "Tired" as in of me. Oh so you are tired of me spending a couple hundred dollars a month for mediocre service. You are tired and it shows in the ratings. Guess what I am tired too of the disrespect and poor quality in pedicures. Tired of the passive aggressiveness. tired of your high prices and basic work. Time for a change. It is time to move on. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because Ann is consistent but she does not do pedicures and she should train others to her skill level. I do not do elaborate nails. Ann has told me how predictable my nail style and polish choices are so how am I picky? Because I expect quality service and not to be talked to any kind of way because I have been coming here for so long and expected to be treated better. Your staff has become too familiar and instead of blaming the customer - get training for your staff in customer service and improving their craft/trade/skill. The pedicures are currently not the best and it shows. See pics."
"You have to know who to go to for what at Ivy Nails. Because if you get stuck with the wrong person for the wrong service you’ll wonder why you ever patronized this nail salon. That’s what happened to me today. The girl doing my pedicure was shaking so much that it made me concerned for her well-being. She shouldn’t be doing anyones nails. I have had better experiences here and today I was looking for a nice relaxing pedicure on this beautiful Friday that I have off from work. I didn’t get that. See photos for finished product."
"I will say that service here is pretty quick. It might be a little too quick for the prices they charge for mani pedi's. They have a great color selection and plenty of staff available to assist. I think maybe 10 additional minutes per client would make a world of difference as it relates to attending to details... from nail shaping to even coats of polish. Not terrible, but not great either. I will likely find another location for these services. Again... not terrible but not great. If you find this review helpful, please press like below."
