Reviews of Stephen C Foster State Park
"Great place to go for a peaceful camp out. They also have cabins you can rent also if camping isn’t your thing. If you have a national park pass you can use it here too. Quiet campsites , not a party place so won’t be losing sleep with loud neighbors."
"Swamp is beautiful. Highly recommend taking tour. Did not see much wildlife on a cool January day."
"This looks like a wonderful place to get away. It looks like a great place to kayak, hike, and go biking. We seen an alligator, an owl, and other small animals. We took a short hike .75 miles. It was nice and the boardwalk was great."
"Beautiful nature! A variety of camping and cottages with a nice store for sundries. The boat tours are awesome, and motorized boats, canoes and kayaks can be rented."
"Fantastic wildlife. Saw 40+ alligators on a boat ride, along with several unique types of birds. Walking around the campground, we saw deer every day along with a few owls. We visited in the middle of August, so temperatures were scorching during the heat of the day, but on a 4 day trip, we only had one encounter with a yellow fly. Bugs were almost a non issue in the heat. The reflections of trees on the black water are incredible."
