"Not a good experience. They have awful customer service, the shop is beyond disgusting to the point I didn’t even want to use their bathroom. They definitely will up charge you once they start, VERY money hungry. I was quoted one price over the phone and then was quoted $40-$50 more once they got about 5 braids in. Their explanation was that my hair was long… makes no sense at all, because even if I had no hair at all, I would still want it braided to the length I asked for. Then, they demanded I pay when they were only half way done because one braider was leaving. She didn’t say thank you, no nothing. Just took her half of the money and left. Terrible service here, and I will never go back! Not to mention they don’t wash their hands in between customers, they take plenty of phone breaks while braiding, and they talk extremely loud over your head…. No wonder they independent braiders are coming up all over Atlanta."

"I only went once. It was three years ago. They charged me $200 for braids. I was very unsatisfied with the results. There were awkward pieces sticking up and out. The ends were atrocious. My braids were already looking old even though I just got them done. The braids only lasted a week and a half. They charged extra to wash my hair even though I had already washed it. They kept claiming it was dirty and insisted on making me get it washed. I felt like they were only doing that to get more money out of me. They took too many breaks, talked too much, and took entirely too long. I would NOT recommend this hot mess a** place to any new and considering clients."

"First and last experience. I got jumbo cornrows. I just moved into the neighborhood, my original hair stylist is in Marietta. I was hoping this place was going to be good since it’s closer. I dropped by earlier in the week to get the cost. When I came back two days later, they gave me a higher quote. And only agreed to the original amount cause I said I was leaving. I wish I had. So I agree when others say no set price, and it looks like they air up prices. The lady doing my hair ignored my pleas to not include my edges, and kept yanking my hair tightly. Every once in a while she’d cough over me , not trying to cover her mouth, not wearing a mask. She used a lighter and scissors on the finished cornrows, not caring that she was burning and cutting my hair in the process. I had bought my own Shine and Jam, and at the end she dumped a lot of it on my hair after, like it was moisturizer, so now I have a lot of build up. She ignored every protest and request from me. I’ve felt so frustrated. It’s day two and I’m considering taking it down cause it hurts, from how tight it is. I’m in the service industry and I’m usually a strong tipper. I also like to support black owed or female owned business. But I couldn’t bring myself to tip and simply chose to pay the price quoted. And couldn’t bring myself not to leave this review If you care, about your edges and the health of your hair, DO NOT GO HERE. They definitely need to learn more about their craft, hair care, customer service and cleanliness"

"So I’ve been coming here for 2yrs now getting my hair done. The last 2 times I hated my hair. Recently I was going away so I made the 1hr drive from my house to get my hair done (mind you I get my hair done every 2months I wrap my hair with a scarf and put a bonnet on)) I got Senegalese twist (paid $255) brought my own hair as always not even two 2weeks later my hair was falling out. After about a week 3 in the back just fell out, a few day later I called them to ask if they could fix the 3 in the back and 3 in the front that are falling out. She text ok and says but it will be $30. I told her I don’t feel I should have to pay it hasn’t even been a full 2weeks yet (10 days to be exact).,She told me it’s been almost 2 weeks which is touch up time. I’ve never gotten touch up cause my usually last. I’m a hair stylist so In this business where there is so much competition your customer service is what should stand out. Word of mouth is everything. Helps keep you going. Updated review we where able to talk things out. Now that is great customer service. And I really appreciate her reaching out me. That definitely made me feel like my business and satisfaction mattered. So thank you!!"
