"I really don’t like to give small businesses low ratings. However, I feel it is important to share my unsatisfactory experience to help others. I bought a laser hair removal package and had 5 out of 6 of my purchased sessions. For reference, I am a black women with medium-dark skin. I had never had laser hair removal sessions before this and didn’t know what to expect. Friends that had the experience (my complexion and darker) warned me that my experience wasn’t normal. I had very little hair removal with the 5 sessions and didn’t receive my 6th session because I showed up for my last appointment and she wasn’t there. Instead of apologizing and making things right (because mistakes happen), she sent me edited screenshot to “prove” that she didn’t receive the texts that I confirmed my appointment. I could tell the screenshot was edited and she wasn’t being honest. We hadn’t had any issues with “texts not going through” the months prior to this. I asked for a refund for the missed session at this point and she refused, only allowing a reschedule. After the back and forth and dishonesty, I had no interest. Thankfully I found a new place (much more expensive but reasonable) that was able to remove 300% more hair in 1 session than the 5 I had at this place. I wish I would have chosen this 2nd place to begin with to save me months of time, dissatisfaction, and unethical professionalism."
