"I would LOVE to say that Barkeia does 5 star makeup. Her IG page is POPPIN! Honestly she may be one of the best. BUT….. after I booked an appointment MONTHS in advance…. She cancelled on me. It was the day before my WEDDING. Her unprofessionalism sent me into a tailspin. The one thing a woman shouldn’t have to worry about, the day before her wedding, is her makeup! Especially with less than 24 hours notice. She did send me a list of other people that she recommended whose work I had never seen before. It wasn’t until I declined all of her suggestions that she offered me my deposit back! This is a common practice for her. She has cancelled on other people I know as well at the last minute. So if you MUST book with her, I would suggest not booking her on an important day."
