"Disgusting sespool of drug activity and the bartender Tommy is completely complicit with it."
"The food was fine, I don’t know if the beer lines need to be cleaned or not but the beer tasted gross. It was the service from Jon, however, that really irritated our party. He was fine and friendly at first but then then the check came. We split it, tipped him 20% and my buddy tipped him 10% and decided to tip the other 10 via cash. That’s when our server started scolding us. Telling us things like, I don’t work to get 10 percent, etc. I said maybe we did the math wrong, can we get the receipt back? He said, forget it, it’s already gone! Making us feel super unwelcome for the rest of our time there, making us want to rush to leave because he was being such a jerk. We originally thought that we found our new spot, but he made us so uncomfortable that now we won’t be back again."
"Believe it or not, this very smoky local pub has half-way decent bar food. A friend and I went to play trivia there this evening (every Tuesday and the trivia host is a very nice guy) and placed 2nd. He drank his dinner; I ate mine, fajita nachos. Not too bad. I was surprised they were as tasty as they were. They're not like you'd get at a Mexican restaurant, but they're tasty and served in a decent portion size. The service has always been excellent. Not one complaint in that area. There's quite the collection of characters there. As an entertainer friend of mine said of a place he performs, it's G-d's waiting room. From a guy that seems like he's not all there or on serious drugs (maybe both), to elderly folks getting out for some fun, to the young bartenders and wait staff. It's never dull and always interesting people watching."
"Extremely welcoming and warm Irish themed bar with darts, pool, and a dedicated group of regulars that make sure the place always feel warm and welcoming. Can't go wrong with an evening here. Don't forget about the excellent bartenders who bring an excellent level of experience and positive reinforcement to an evening of drinks and conversation."
"I used to frequent this joint waaaay back in the mid 90's. Lived just down the road. Me and my buddies spent many hours and many a dollar here after work. Drinking. Playing. Chasing. Being young dudes. First visit since those days. Decor is different. I'm older. But this is still a great bar. I miss it and wish I still lived down the road."
