"People are helpful, and they were able to rush the alterations for my (now) husband's suit! Everything came out perfectly, we were very happy with the results!"
"A good selection of Suits and often a good deal on shirts or suits. Plenty of ties and accessories - also formal wear. I have purchased "Light Weight" Business Suits, Coats and Jackets for years from Men's Wearhouse. Light Weight is much cooler in the Hot Southern Summers. I shop there in other cities like Atlanta or Tampa too. Nothing beats a good suit in comfort and style. :)Todd"
"Worst customer service ever. 3 employees, 1 customer, and no greeting. Asked where the full suits were and got "everywhere in the store" in a disgusted tone. Did not expect everything to be sold as separates as that is not the case online. Asked if they had any suit sales going on and was told "no you have to go online" Asked if they could do the measurements so we would know what to order online, got no reply, just a disgusted sigh like we were a huge inconvenience. Waited 15-20 minutes for service & was ignored so we left. Lost that sale, we needed it for a special event. Not going back, & will caution others. It is supposed to be a special moment, being fitted for a new suit, this was the opposite."
"What has become of the once great Men’s Wearhouse in Tallahassee? Where are the tremendous professionals who made that establishment the place where a man could go be treated to the experience of buying a suit? My last few visits to this store have been bad, worse and terrible. It’s come a long way from when folks like Mike, Nate, Marvin and Josh made you feel like a gentleman, helping you find the suit that made you feel good, showing you seasonal combinations and tacking on a pair of fresh Florsheims. The quality of this business has diminished to say the least. While full of suits, the showroom inventory is limited to a few shades of blue, gray and black, but that’s not their biggest con. The staff is not helpful, not properly trained to sell suits and do not offer the top-notch individualized service that the Men’s Wearhouse in this town was known for a few years ago. If out of desperation you have to buy a suit from this place for a special event, ask to buy the suit outright and carry it down the street to Helga’s Alterations where they have a real tailor. Do not let their “tailor” cut, sew or hem your new suit. I once loved shopping at the Men’s Wearhouse. I’ve been a loyal client for nearly 17 years and I would love to see it return to how it was, but it’s not likely that I’ll be back in there anytime soon."
"Horrible experience. The backs of the vests for a wedding did not match (see pic below). This is for a beach wedding so they are only wearing shirts and vests and not jackets so the backs matter. After the runaround they agreed to order more so that they matched but could not guarantee that they would match. The new ones they ordered matched. Thank God. We went and pick up the new ones and they had ordered an XXL instead of a 2X which is the size that they were supposed to be. We had already been over there five times and live an hour and a half away. The new vest did not fit and the only option was for me to send it back, wait for it to come back to the store and then they would resend the other one. I specifically sent a message to the manager telling her the correct size (2X) because she said I would have to tell her what size we need even though she had the size in her system. She ordered an XXL. So when I asked her what the difference between a 2X and an XXL, she told me the 2X was bigger. I asked her why she didn’t order the 2X like I asked her to (and the size he previously had) and she said that wasn’t the size they had in their system. She previously told me she didn’t know which size belonged to which person and that’s why she needed the size. She was ordering two vest so how did she know which size was the one that she needed to order the correct back on? Due to this being the managers fault for ordering the wrong size, they should go ahead and send the vest with a prepaid box for me to send the other one back. The wedding is in “three” weeks. Poor management. Don’t buy from them. Another option provided by corporate was that I can go online and buy another vest. You will end up spending a lot more money if you buy with this company. The first pic is of the wrong color backs (very tacky). The second pic is the correct size (2X) but wrong color back. The third pic is a picture of the wrong size (XXL) obviously. EDIT: I finally got corporate involved (after 3 attempts) and I got the replacement vest in time."
