"I can count on 1 hand the amount of reviews I’ve left over the last couple of years so typically I don’t leave one unless something was really good or really bad. Was really disappointed here yesterday. Stopped in for a few beers and ordered some food- a burger for the kids to share and I got the chipotle ranch chicken sandwich and my hubby got a burger wrap of some sort. Anyway, the place was clean and the beer was good, and we’d read up on the place prior and thought it was cool that a veteran owned it etc. What wasn’t good was the hamburger - my kids were very put off by the taste so I tasted it myself and it was terrible. Didn’t even taste like beef it almost tasted like a sausage patty and the look and consistency was of a pre-made patty - perfectly shaped, thin and an overly smooth consistency to it - almost slimey. Husband picked off the meat (same stuff) off of his meal and so did my son. My daughter did eat her portion of the burger cuz she was starving but said it “tasted like a hot dog.” Very very weird experience with the meat not sure if they’d run out of burger and ran to the nearest store and bought some random Patties or what, but the menu made the burgers look and sound delicious and they definitely were not. Waiter picked up our dishes and the meat was clearly picked off and uneaten which typically would flag an employee to ask (at least I would have?!). Mentioned it to the waiter at checkout and he mumbled something about a “new recipe” they were trying in the kitchen and offered no solution. Terrible experience, don’t order a burger there anytime soon guys."

"Great place to grab a burger and a brew! It had been a while since we last came here, so we decided to check them out for Chattanooga Burger Week, and we are glad we did. We each had the featured burger, "The Tipsy Tapster." Wow! It was delicious! The kitchen was quick, and the food was hot. The beers were tasty, just right to pair with the burger. But the MAIN reason I'm giving this five stars is because the staff there was excellent!!! We never felt as though we were ignored OR bothered. Plates were removed quickly, and each staff member we interacted with made us feel so welcome as if we were their friends and they cared about us. That's a difficult thing to accomplish in one staff member, but in all of them, it's amazing! Stop by and check them out; you'll be glad you did."
