Reviews
"This store is connected to Peachtree City School of Dance. Call before coming. If the studio is closed for break, so is the store."
"Place is amazing! Great deals and one of a kind ballet dancewear that you can't find anywhere else. Staff is amazing and super helpful especially a lady named Kim."
"Initially I gave a One star review with a negative experience I had for the first time experience. The owner Nicole who also owns the dance studio reached out to me personally to offer her sincere apology. Nicole was very kind and explained their hard work and transition they are going through, which she didn’t have to but it was nice of her. I will give the boutique another go because the dance studio made an amazing impact on me with their customer service. My daughter loves to shop so we will be in soon."
"Maybe good to use for picking up tights on occasion, but NEVER use them for a pointe shoe fitting. We did and my daughter ended up in a shoe that was extra wide, she has a narrow foot, and it was two sizes too big. Additionally, her toe pads were way too small, but since it was our first fitting, I didn't know. This could have damaged her foot and did cause several issues that she has to adjust due to the horrible fitting. I heard him sizing another seasoned dancer for jazz shoes and she complained they felt too big. He told her to wear two pairs of socks. I wasted over $150 on shoes, toe pads, and a complimentary, to them, pointe shoe bag that they charged me for. Run away from them as fast as you can and take your dancer to another place for shoes."
"I own Pirouette With Purpose Dance Studio located in Jonesboro, Ga and, for the past few years, have sent numerous students and staff members to shop for their dancewear needs at Tutu Cute but after my experience with them yesterday, I have decided to discontinue my studio’s relationship with them. Let me start by saying that the co-owner, Kathy and sales associate, Sierra, ALWAYS deliver A-1 customer service and are super helpful and friendly to myself, my students, and staff. Unfortunately, their stellar customer service is overshadowed by the combative, rude, arrogant, condescending, and belittling customer service of the other co-owner, Bob. What started off as a lovely event for my students ended in a bitter encounter with Bob that makes me wish I had never planned the event in the first place. By the way, this is not the first event I’ve planned with them. I planned one a few months ago which was AMAZING thanks to Sierra! And due to my enjoyment of that one, I figured this one would be just as enjoyable but boy was I wrong. Now, I’ve had 2 unpleasant experiences with him before yesterday and had gotten some not-so-good feedback about him from some of my dance parents but kept returning to the store because Kathy and Sierra were such a pleasure to shop with. But yesterday was the last straw. I came in with my competition team to have them sized for and to purchase new shoes but for some reason Bob took that as a moment to belittle, dismiss, argue, and undermine MY choices in dance shoes for MY students. And he chose to do so in front of my dance parents AND students. Some of them even shared with me how uncomfortable it made them to see him challenge me on every decision that I made. He was out of line and out of place to say the least. He even went so far as to criticize a shoe that I chose that my students were in the midst of trying on! The kids were literally “ooo-ing” and “aww-ing” over the shoe because they loved it. His response? “That shoe feels weird!” “I don’t like that shoe!” “I’ll convert you to not like that shoe!” Who does that??? SO unprofessional! It was so bad that his wife, Kathy, had to pull him away at one point and tell him to stop challenging me. I confronted him about it at the end of our fitting to give him the benefit of the doubt and a chance to redeem himself but all he did was double down on what he said! And he even had the audacity to tell me that his choices were better than mine! Not once did he apologize. My assistant that was with me said that because of his unapologetic smugness, she felt like he was enjoying being rude to me for whatever reason. Horrible! Needless to say, I am NOT happy with how I was treated and will NOT be returning to shop with them EVER again, I will be alerting my current dance families ASAP to tell them that I’m discontinuing the studio’s relationship with them, and will no longer send new students to shop there. I refuse to allow myself to be mistreated in an establishment where I am a paying customer AND send paying customers. I LOVED shopping with Kathy and Sierra but the disrespect from Bob is NOT worth it. I would rather spend my money in and send my dance parents to a store that appreciates our business and respects me as a dance professional and studio owner!"
