"I highly recommend to come here and have a tasting and learning session with Amy. I’m brand new to Gong Fu tea and have been trying to learn online but after finding this place I realized I have much to learn. Amy is truly amazing at educating. I will absolutely be returning for future tastings."
"I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Wai's Gong Fu Tea House today! Amy, our tea ceremony guide, was not only incredibly friendly but also impressively knowledgeable about the teas. Her expertise added a delightful touch to our visit. The high quality of the teas further elevated the experience, making it truly special. The ambiance, the teas, and Amy's passion make Wai's Gong Fu Tea House a must-visit for any tea enthusiast! Highly recommend!"
"A must do experience if you are curious to learn more about tea! We came on a quiet sunday afternoon, Amy was so sweet & went above & beyond to ensure we enjoyed our tea tasting. The atmosphere was very warm and customer focused. They have a great store with beautiful tea sets as well."
"Steeped in tradition and bursting with flavor, Wai's Gong Fu Tea House is the ultimate spot for tea lovers in ATL. Behind the unassuming exterior and past the majestic red palace doors, you'll find a tea chamber that is the perfect blend of beauty and tranquility. From the moment my wife and I sat down at the ancient tree root table for our date, complete with a waterfall built into the table for our tea tasting, it was clear that Wayne, the Gong Fu Tea Master, was about to brew up an unforgettable experience. Trust me, it was oolong time since I had such an immersive tea journey! Over three tea-tastic tastings, we delved deep into the realms of oolong, red (or as some mistakenly call it, black) tea, and pu'er. My wife, initially skeptical of black tea's bitterness, was amazed when Wayne debunked common tea myths, showcasing that when brewed right, every tea has its own unique and delightful flavor. In essence, he showed us that the quest for the perfect cup of tea isn't about the destination, but the journey. Every sip is imperfectly perfect and uniquely appreciated by you. As we searched for that perfect sip, we found ourselves steeped in tea-riffic conversation and brew-tiful aromas. Wayne's expertise shone brighter than a well-seasoned pu’er teapot. His knowledge on the history, nuances, and preparation techniques of each tea type turned our visit into a three Michelin star experience. The Michelin guide truly missed out on not featuring this gem in their recent review of Atlanta. Whether you're a tea novice or a seasoned connoisseur, Wayne's store offers a treasure trove of whole-leaf teas, gong fu setups, tea pets, and countless tea goodies. And the best part? The prices won't steep a hole in your pocket, all thanks to Wayne's direct ties with suppliers in China. In short, if you're teetering on the edge of visiting, just brew it! Wai's Gong Fu Tea House is a must-visit for anyone looking to elevate their tea experience to the next level and have a magical time."
