"The pho is good but it is absolutely freezing in there. Thermostat literally reads 58 currently. I’m told the owner won’t let them turn up the heat because it’s expensive."

"I had the Drunken Noodles for lunch. Noodles were super overcooked. Also very congealed and gloopy forming soggy stuck together masses of disappointing noodle. WAY WAY WAY WAY too much onion. Probably an entire onion in my meal, huge roughly chopped up pieces, and basically raw. Not nearly enough chicken. I feel like 20 percent of the meal was onion. All of that could be forgiven if it had flavor. It did not. It had the shadow of flavor. what little bit I could taste wasn't bad, but its was turned way down. On the pro side- it wasn't so offensive that I couldn't finish it and the portion was fine."

"The Pho was fine, nothing wrong with it but certainly nothing special. No chili oil available and you only get a bag(use a plate) of sprouts and a bit of lime. Hoison comes in a packet. You order by touch screen, was made to feel like an inconvenience for asking for some water. A fine lunch spot if you work in the area, but the city has much better Vietnamese restaurants"

"Dear Google, before I start please change the hours to reflect that they are now open Saturdays. Was craving a hot bowl of pho on a cold day and found this spot by chance, decided to give it a try. Nice warm interior decor, easy ordering from touch screen menus for dine in or takeout. I ordered Pho Tai (thin cut eye round) to dine in and a chicken banh mi sandwich to go, food came out fast albeit it wasn’t busy. The pho had delicious broth, probably the best part as not too sweet nor watered-down and just the right amount of savory goodness. Average portion sizes and ratio of ingredients. Main drawbacks were noodles and serving presentation. The noodle texture was a bit too soft to start and was far hotter than the broth, not sure if it was freshly made while broth was simmering, or premade and reheated in microwave. In terms of presentation, the veggie toppings (bean sprouts, jalapeños, etc) came in a sandwich bag, plastic spoon, sauces in individual pouches, got the vibe this is more of a quick bite kind of place, or perfect option for takeout/delivery. Overall 8/10 would recommend. The Banh mi sandwich was delicious good portion of meat, would have preferred less carrot, more cucumber, and much more cilantro to balance it out but overall very satisfying. If you are in the mood for a quick bite of tasty Viet food and haven’t tried this place out, what are you waiting for?"

"We had lunch at the Downtown location of Anh's Kitchen today. It's on Jesse Hill Drive near Edgewood Avenue, just north of the Municipal Market. The interior is lovely & the food is wonderful. Open Mon-Friday. My wife and I both had the chicken pho, and our son had lemongrass tofu. Great stuff."
