"They took great care of my son. Not a fan of the parking situation, had to walk down the street to get to my car at 11 pm with my 3 yr old but overall they were pretty quick in getting him seen. Staff was very nice. I was a wreck and they made me feel at ease. Thank you!"

"Went to the ER with my 8 months old baby who had a severe fever. None of these personnel had a smile towards my daughter. They were all cold. After the long wait only the doctor played with her. She told me she had the flu and only needed ibuprofen. The nurse who administered it to my baby appeared irritated as my daughter was crying because she didn’t like it. After one week my daughter still had symptoms. My intuition told me to go somewhere else. I went to another hospital. Turns out my daughter had COVID-19 the whole time. Nobody thought about running a test on her in that hospital. I would have taken actions sooner. Just a waste of time."

I've had mixed results at other CHOA facilities, but every interaction* with nurses, doctors, triage, respiratory, billing and pharmacy was speedy, helpful, friendly and informative. *Aside from intake (that lady was so ready to go that she had her car keys out on the counter LOL) Thank you for helping my son, Hughes-Spalding team!"

"They took such good care of my 9 year old who we didn't know has asthma, until he was having an code red asthma attack and couldn't hardly breath. After a 3 day and 2 night stay... We're as healthy as can be! I appreciate every single person who took care of my only child."

"Had to take my son there due to him almost fainting. As with most hospitals the wait was long. But we were comfortable and treated nicely. Very small emergency parking area, as it's first come first served, though there's parking near the hospital. The nurses and doctor were nice and the doctor was helpful with my son in his diagnosis. He enjoyed getting Gatorade and watching cartoons as we waited. You have to be patient getting to see a doctor unless you're in a serious emergency, which happened while we were in our room. The doctor apologized and actually got a nurse to attend us as she left to help. She came back and continued to help us. Very caring but of course, a long wait."
