"They do not honor contract pricing with insurance. They overcharge and will not accept insurance offer for network prices. Then send your bill to collections without ever notifying you that you had a balance. Phone number not in service so you can’t call them to work out nothing!! Horrible"

"Very unprofessional billing department. They took 5 months to send me a bill, which was not properly run through insurance. I called the billing department, which for some reason is located in Pittsburgh, and after a 10 minute hold they answered the phone only to tell me that I would have to wait up to 48 hours for a return call to speak to someone about the billing issue. After calling my insurance company, I was informed that Anesthesia Consultants has not been honoring the in-network contract with Aetna members throughout my area. If you have any ability to figure out whether the anesthesiologist you are going to use is part of this group, you would be well advised to try and obtain another practitioner with a more professional office supporting them."

"Third time in collections this year. They bulk bill the insurance company which denies the claim because they need to be submitted separately. Then they don't resubmit or contact you - they just send you straight to collections. Don't bother calling them. I have spoken to the billing department numerous times - told, yes, we will resubmit, and then nothing until collections calls again. They are the worst I have ever had to deal with."

"Doctors are great but billing company that they contracted with is totally incompetent. I forwarded a check from my insurance company to them on May 12 and kept calling to see if they had received yet - always the answer is no - but they were not trying to find it either. So they turned me over to collections in August. I had to get my insurance company to track down the check, make a copy of it and sent it to the collection agency. Checked was cashed by someone on May 19 but nobody knew what happened to it. I don't think they know yet. So i make my first payment to the collection agency, then I get a statement showing that the rest has been written off and I don't owe anything - that was incorrect also - haven't received a correct bill since May."

"So I guess they are okay technically as I didn't wake up in surgery or anything. But their billing is abominable. The first bill they sent me they blamed the hospital for not having my insurance information (everybody else managed to get it) and said they would resubmit. The second bill, still showing me uninsured, but now late, they blamed me for not giving them the insurance information at the time of surgery, as if that is even possible when they are putting you under. Then they said it was impossible to resubmit to insurance, then they said they did submit to insurance, then the next day a collection agency called me to strong arm me into paying the whole uninsured bill. These people are THE WORST!!!"
