"This place helped me so much, I was in acute for 35 days before being moved to residential, my sisters went here years ago and had horror stories but i can tell they’ve made MAJOR improvements. Ms Brooke was the sweetest woman ever and was so funny and all over the place. Mr Kenny showed genuine care for everyone and he has amazing drawings, Ms Chloe sat with me and validated me while i cried over mashed potatoes, Mr Jack was so caring and always wanted us to be entertained AND HE MEMORIZED MY SALAD ORDER "

"I was there in the teens January and February of 2023. I would definitely suggest this place for kids who need to be impatient. I had 2 times in acute care there. I came out having a feeling of hope and encouragement because of how uplifting the staff was. We learned coping skills and although it was repetitive, it was helpful. I honestly forgot at times that I was in a hospital. They made it as comfortable as they could for me. And I didn’t want to be there but honestly if I needed to go back I would. I had very bad issues with being away from home but they made it bearable. I will never forget the first night I walked into the group room when I got checked in and Mrs. Gillian did everything she could to make me feel ok. All the staff are amazing! There was only one that I remember who didn’t like me. ( I don’t remember her name. ) I wish I could remember the staffs name and give them credit but all I remember was Mrs. Gillian’s name and Mrs. Brooke. And the food was also pretty good. I loved all the staff and I miss them. Definitely a good place to go!"

The staff is amazing, Ms.Amy, Mr.DJ, Ms.Chloe, Ms.Morgan, Nurse Lindsay, Nurse Joseph, and Mr.Daniel from Sub-Acute are amazing 10/10 stars to them. They have helped me through my journey. "Sooo I was here 3 times in acute but it wasn't really working for me, and then I spent almost 2 months in subacute and it genuinely helped me a lot. I got on meds that actually work for me, which didn't feel like a possibility for a while lol. The staff was always nice and welcoming, you can tell they actually care about their job and about mental health in general. I'm very glad to be out but i'm grateful for everything this place did for me!"

"I was a patient here in 2003. I couldn’t believe people put their small children in this place, it is ran like a jail sometimes. Humiliation is used as a punishment method. Food restrictions as well to punish. The staff aren’t trained, they’re just regular people off the street that got a job. Whenever we were “bad” we had to wear a hospital gown and sit on the floor ALL DAY until it was bed time. They would call it “back group” I believe. While we were in “back group” we had to eat plain cereals and foods as a punishment. That is laughable! How is that supposed to help someone mentally? They also have a “quiet room” which is similar to a suicide jail cell. An empty concrete room except prison inmates are allowed a toilet and sink. This room has nothing. They locked me in there a few times. I escaped this place once and the director chased us down in his pickup truck and drug us back. The second escape attempt i was successful and never looked back."
