"Dr. Mark Supan was great- if I could give him five stars specifically I would. I was a little bit worried about seeing a male gynecologist, but he quickly made me feel comfortable and respected. He exuded positive energy and I could tell he was really listening to me. I made the appointment to get my Nexplanon implant out. We talked about other birth control methods, but I didn't feel like immediately getting something else (another implant, IUD, etc.). He answered all of my questions and didn't pressure me to make a decision that day. However, one part of my visit was very upsetting. When I was getting my vitals checked by the MA, I was made to stay on the scale and read my weight OUT LOUD while she sat at the computer. I am at a healthy weight and understand that this is a normal part of a doctor's visit. That doesn't bother me. However, I am in recovery from an eating disorder and don't weigh myself because of it. I was honestly astounded. I have NEVER been made to read out my own weight in a healthcare setting; the MA usually just records it silently. Doing otherwise is a highly dangerous and inconsiderate practice considering how common EDs are among women. Knowing the number has thrown me for a loop. Disappointing. I never leave reviews, but my sister (who works in women's health) said that she would if I didn't. Please take this concern to heart."
"From the minute I walked in, I would’ve felt like I had been going to this office for years with how friendly everyone was! Each person I interacted with had a friendly and warm personality making me feel so comfortable during my visit. I would definitely recommend this location!"
"I'm in my third trimester & have found so much support, guidance, and confidence through visits to Emory Johns Creek. From the desk attendant to the doctors everyone is super courteous and helpful. I've met most of the team of doctors & midwives and am impressed by the breadth of experience and perspective. They always take the time to answer our questions & recommend resources. Their care options reflect up to date medical understanding & practices. Facilities are always immaculate & comfortable. Making appointments, text reminders, and the online portal make receiving information and keeping appointments straight a breeze. I can't recommend them highly enough. I do recommend making morning appointments for quick in & out, same as every other medical practice."
"Waited for over 30 minutes in the waiting room to be told that it would be another 30 minutes before I would even be called back into a room. Will not be coming back to this office."
