"Dr. Goyne is extremely rude, and asks deep questions and when you give an answer she says, "I'm not a therapist". I'm not a patient there but I know enough people who have had numerous encounters with her and they are now in a worse state than when they came in."

"It was tough getting in for my first appointment. I was a current patient with the incoming NP, but a referral from a provider was required to transfer with her. If a person is reaching out for mental health support, I feel it should be easier to receive help. It took me two months to make an appointment. It’s also really hard to reach someone on the phone, but the office is good about calling you back. I feel that Laura Priest is a great essential to Hamilton Behavioral Group. She goes above and beyond for her patients. She makes you feel validated and comfortable during your appointments. You won’t be disappointed in her."

"This office is closing, and for good reason. This is the absolute worst psychiatric practice I have ever used in 30 years and several cities. So glad to move on to a more professional office. They are consistently an hour or longer wait past your appointment time. They change your doctors frequently. They cancel appointments at the last minute. And they also drug screen everyone as if they are users. I’m not sure exactly what the problem is with this office, but it seems to be consistent with the terrible care that Hamilton Medical provides in all their facets."

"My mother has been a patient of Dr. Swafford's for quiet some time now. She has raved about her, but the office staff and Dr. Swafford's nurse, Crystal, are less than subpar. The nurse screens calls and does not return voicemails. My mother tried for 2 weeks to get in contact with the nurse to discuss the medication she was taking, but the nurse never answered the phone or returned a call. I intervened and called the office and Crystal answered the phone; I explained the situation and she acted as if I was wasting her time and you could hear the annoyance in her voice. I understand that it can be chaotic and sometimes phones cannot be answered, but 2 weeks?? Enough is enough. No patient should feel as if they are a burden at their doctor's office. If you cannot do your job and make a patient feel confident in the care they are receiving maybe this profession is not right for you. I say this for my mother and every other patient that has came in contact with such behavior. Have enough respect for the patients to answer questions and ease their concerns. I would not recommend this office for anyone. Find a place that values the patients. I do not lose my temper often, but this nurse is one of the most disrespectful healthcare professionals I have came across. This may not result in a change of action for her, but I hope this helps other potential patients with their choice in offices."
