"For anyone inquiring about what happened, the Georgia Composite Medical board makes this information public. You can do a search of his name and the court documents are all there. His license was suspended for inappropriately prescribing medications. He was court ordered to undergo a mental evaluation and neurology evaluation based on a series of complaints from patients that he seemed to be under the influence of drugs. He hasn't completed the court ordered evaluations so they had to suspend his license"

"Well in all reality Dr Mayfield deserves five stars the DEA that shut him deserve zero Stars! We now has many people with mental issues walking around without medication so now have a boatload and unable to function people with bipolar disorder unable to function"

"I fail to see how anyone ever came to the conclusion that Dr. Mayfield was sent to jail and then had to bond out. I do not know why he had to shut down all of a sudden, but almost everyone's comments are so awful and toxic. Dr. Mayfield was a very compassionate doctor, and had the friendliest staff I know of, although I wish the others who came to see him treated him and his staff better. If you still think he was sent to jail and bonded out, then what in god's green earth are you smoking??? Do your research before you dare to open your big fat mouth in that manner."

"Awesome Doctor! Pays very close attention to details. Very smart man. Very laid back. He loves his family. He is the best Doctor for my needs I have ever had to deal with. However! The only down fall to Dr. Mayfield’s practice is, they simply do not answer phone calls, they do not return phone calls! This is not a direct hit on Dr. Mayfield, But a hit at his employees. His staff is very nice, kind and generous, but simply doesn’t answer phones! I still give this Doctor a 5 star rating simply because not one person or persons can be perfect! We are all human and we make mistakes. You can’t take the fact that Mayfield is simply the best at what he does!"

"Dr. Mayfield is always helpful, have had some issues with a few life issues and after seeing dr. Mayfield he has gotten me on a daily regimen that has helped me be able to function and deal with life a little more than what I was able to prior to being his patient."
