Crowne Plaza Columbus North- Worthington, an IHG Hotel

"So after paying a little under $100.00 to literally go swimming found the pool area temperature at 68 degrees. The room 213 window does not latch so constantly cold room. Bed was nice, staff was polite but was told free breakfast until 930am to only find out that my room didn't come with it!!! How much does a bagel and cream cheese run again? Asked to speak with manager and was told they will be in in the am. It's now 915 no manager on site. Would have just left last night once found out the pool was shifty. Do not recommend just save ourself headache and drive to Polaris exit!!!! Found car side swiped upon Leaving this morning as well. No reply from General manager"

"Stay on 02/07/2024 We paid $160 too swim cause said was a heated pool. Even told them that's why we were there. Went to swim and pool area was maybe 60 degree if that. Was going to leave decided to stay thinking the breakfast would make up for the freezing cold pool area and cold room. We get up for breakfast to be told that our $160 room does NOT include breakfast We have to pay for it as well. Everything they say is a flat put sales prop to get business's would not recommend this place at all."

"The room I got was a bit old but clean. Good water pressure and temp, great bed. Could use newer pillows, but comfortable anyway. My main issue with this hotel is how large it is. How far away my room was from the entrance and the location map in the lobby didn't help me know how far.the walk would be. Servixe was great. Friendly staff. It very likely I will stay here again."

"Super meh. I have stayed here several times and been underwhelmed time and time again. The rooms have been nicely updated and are clean, the staff is nice and accommodating so it can be a great value if you're just looking for a place to crash. The north-central location is convenient even if the hotel is a winding 5-minute drive off the exit and through a business park. Road noise - definitely more than some people could ignore if you're on the highway side. The pool - old but functional** however it was open but barely heated, legitimately 55-60 degrees so I treated it as a cold plunge. When properly heated it is a very cool and fun indoor outdoor swim through pool. If you're planning on swimming I would call ahead to make sure the pool is open and a good temperature for swimming. The fitness center is small but well appointed with a nice concept 2 rower if that's your thing. Overall a clean hotel with nice staff that is a shadow of its former self which always leaves me wanting more."

"The hotel as a whole is outdated. They have made some cosmetic improvements but it is superficial. It was once a very nice hotel that could use re-vamped. The lobby smelled like sewage when we checked in. Maybe that was a brief issue. Everything else was fine. The pool is pretty neat, kids would love it. We went to an event in the ballroom about 2-3 years ago and that was nice. It probably held 300 people. There is parking in the rear of the building so you can access the ballroom easily. Conveniently located just off of I71, south of I270, on the north side of Columbus."
