"Got a 18 inch pepperoni, button and portobello mushroom pizza. The time was prompt, and the owner had a lot of love and passion for his craft. The pizza sauce was a little sweet for my liking, however overall the pizza was fantastic. The price is good for the location, and I will definitely be coming back whenever I crave a good pizza and some wisdom in rockford. I tend to be a bit of a talker, and the owner was patient, and had a lot of wisdom to share. I highly highly reccomend trying this place."

"This place is unorganized. We went there the day before Thanksgiving and we knew there would be a wait, which is fine. They didn't have a host seating anyone, so people with a parties of 2 were at tables for 4 or 6. It was ridiculous. The only tables left were tables for 2, and we had 3 people in our party. The girl working just said to try nextdoor and maybe they could seat us. We tried that and the host there looked super confused and said "ummm"...left....then never returned. Didn't even say what the wait would be. How can these restaurants be so clueless at the busiest bar night of the year? Also, all the workers were probably teenagers which is really odd. Not an adult in sight to run the business."

"My daughter (7) and I were on a daddy daughter date and I thought I would try this place out for the first time. I am happy we did. We started out at the bar with some root beer on tap for her and a beer for me. We watched the cheese bread and pizza be put into the wood fire and be rotated with attention. My daughter filled up on the cheese bread. I ate my fair share too. The marinara was fantastic with larger than life chunks of garlic in it. The pizza was delicious as well. Probably my favorite pizza I have had in Rockford or Belmont. It was well seasoned and the toppings were very high quality (we had sausage and bacon) The service was prompt and friendly. The owner was tossing dough and answering all of my questions. The setting was nice as well. It felt welcoming without being to kitschy."

"What delicious pizza! The crust was light, crispy, and soft in a unique way I haven’t experienced before. And the sauce on the mushroom pizza was so perfect, I could have eaten it on its own. A very well-made pizza that I won’t soon forget."
