"In my experience 2 times trying to get help here, the same PA refused to do a culture as I asked. I knew something was very wrong each time so had to go to urgent care twice after visits here. Both times those cultures came back w awful infections that required prescriptions. I reported this to the head doctor at Northwest ENT. Two of the top staff members called me and profusely apologized & they agreed to waive my $30 copay. Both "acted" like they cared & said they'd have a meeting w the team to discuss this "negligence and rudeness" as this was "unacceptable" but, after a month, not one call back! That right there says it all!!! I will never go back to this place where I was not taken seriously and just dismissed. PS - after their reply, I would like to add - if your office refuses to do a culture (when I clearly stated what happened last time) and I specifically said I am sure I have thrush, then the proper prescription could've been given at that time. I called back a month later to say I was much worse and could I have an anti-fungal prescription and again I was refused treatment. If your office did nothing wrong, why did 2 top staff members call me, admit to "negligence and rudeness" & profusely apologize?! I never heard of an ENT office refusing to do a culture, especially when I knew it was needed. I told the office that when I made the appointment! If you don't deal with throat issues, you should change your name to just an EN office and not an ENT office. All of this was just swept under the rug. No excuses are appropriate. I had already suffered months before going here and, because of this refusal to help, I was made to suffer another 5 weeks unnecessarily until I got the proper prescription by a doctor elsewhere."
"Had been going here for a couple years, Everyone knows that when you get done with the doctor you go to the desk and pay whatever it was, well whoever was behind the desk in May didn't properly run my card and they sent $28 dollars to collection, I called collection and collection now tells me it is $180 and nobody knows anything about nothing....Lesson learned, always get a receipt because I can't make an appointment unless I pay the collections and I'm not paying $180 when I'm told what I owed was $28 because the woman behind the counter didn't do her job properly. ALWAYS GET A RECEIPT"
"I've been waiting weeks for a biopsy to find if I have CANCER?! They ghosted me. I've left messages and tried online and not even a callback! I wish I could sue for the pain they have cost me waiting in constant anxiety. The front office OBVIOUSLY doesn't care about their patients."
"I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Especially if you want anything done. Bad bedside manners as well. They just excepted my insurance is the only reason I went there. So definitely finding another ENT, maybe none of these can compare to the ones at the university in Florida."
"I have been coming here for many years now. I had my tonsils taken out as a child here, had allergy testing, etc. Over the past few years this place has gone down hill. I can’t EVER get a hold of anyone in this office to ask a question or schedule an appointment. I’ve called up here over half a dozen times this past week trying to ask someone what my estimated out of pocket would be for my procedure and it took an hour to figure out who to transfer me to, then that person answered the phone and immediately hung up on me. The people who did answer and transferred me were all very short, rude, and very scripted. I’m going to find a new ENT."
