"I've been to Metro Diner several times (several locations) before and never had a bad experience. Took my mother for lunch today, and she ordered the steak tips. She had to swap her order with mine because she couldn't eat the steak tips. They were over-cooked, tough, and grisly. Service was good, atmosphere is the diner experience, I just can't recommend the steak tips."

"Very local, I enjoyed the banter between the cooks and waitstaff as much as the food. Got the chicken tender plate and the tenders were huge and battered perfectly and crisp not greasy. The fries, the same... crisp and no grease. The slaw was great also. A good meal."
