"Beautiful place with a nice stream. It’s a nice spot to take a break and enjoy the quiet sounds of the water streaming by. Tons of deer on the road leading up to the Old Wheel, so make sure to watch for them too. Parking is easily accessible, but part of the road leading here is gravel, so be wary if you have a low riding car. Definitely a nice little place to check out and a good spot to start on different trails. Trails accessible from the Old Mill Wheel are Long Leaf, Mountain Goat and Snow Loop trails."
"One of my all time favorite places to visit on Berry college campus. It's beautiful and peaceful. Miles of quiet, lovely hiking surrounding it. Great place to bring friends and family who have never visited Rome. Impeccably kept surrounded by forest in all directions. Wonderful place to get out in nature and just breathe clean air for a little while."
"We loved going to this park. They are doing some work to improve the park but it's still beautiful. This is also a local swimming hole so bring towels and bathing suits. The bathrooms were clean when we went there. Beautiful trail but a little strenuous, good exercise. Certainly doable for most anyone."
