"UPDATE - the salesman, Davey, called regarding my review. He was very sorry for the mix up, frustration, extra work, and day lost. They had a misunderstanding on their end. The baler does use 16000 and they agreed to replace the twine. Thank you Baker and Sons (Davey) for taking the time to call, show you care and agreeing to replace the wrong twine. ORIGINAL REVIEW - I bought a used round baler I figured they knew what kind of twine went with it. They sent twine for square bales. If I put any tension on it by hand it broke,junk twine. A round baler does not take 9000 feet/roll . I would think they knew that."

"Steve at Baker & Sons was supposed to contact me within 24 hours for availability of a tractor. It's been a month and nobody has bothered to contact me so I took my money to Haas Tractor sales in Marietta Ohio. I would never bother making the drive to Lewisville. They don't care to sell to a new start up company. They were rude the two times I went outta my way to try to give them my business."

"The folks at Baker & Sons have always been highly responsive to my inquiries. They have the parts and supplies I need, and if not, they’ve ordered them in a timely manner. I have a 2011 Massey I keep in top condition. It’s not my largest or most used piece of iron, but certainly the most reliable. Some dealers don’t want to deal with you unless you have the latest model. I’m not willing to give up the reliability of this tractor, so I’m glad Baker & Sons is not that kind of dealership. If I need a repair, they’ll find the solution."

"Sales guy is lazy, been trying to buy a grapple from them for months. I noticed they had one in stock when buying pallet forks. I pointed it to the sales guy. He said he didn't know anything about it and said he would have to talk to another guy to see the details. Called a week later talked to another guy that does his job. I sent my dad for pickup. The sales guy still had no clue. Very dismissive to my father didn't care for a sale."

"Their Lazy. I was interested in a JD manure spreader and asked them to take off the left side wheel and take a picture of it so I could determine if the drive mechanism behind the wheel was intact. It is a ten minute job. Roger hemmed and hawed about how long it would take to do that and that it would add to the price. I told him that if he was that lazy I would take my business elsewhere. Poor customer service by my standards. I live in Oklahoma and was not about to drive that far to find out that the spreader was not worth fixing."
