"A patient’s experience with a “therapist” or “counselor” starts at the first phone call. Idk who is running this business but it’s obvious that the therapist who returned my call after a week today is not in the least bit professional or sensitive. After speaking with her for less than 5 mins I changed my mind about wanting to get services from her lol. Therapy is like a store at the mall today, Patients shop around for the right therapist & you would think “public relations” and “communication skills” would be at the top of a therapist’s list in building patient clientele when their certification requires a short time & educational requirements. Bottom line to patients: if you can’t afford it or your insurance will not cover seeing a psychiatrist / psychologist (the best of the best) to deal with the issue at hand, then you have no choice but to settle with a “therapist” / “counselor” & there are vast options."

"Updated: received a very apologetic phone call after feeling things were unorganized for the misunderstanding very open and honest. But, after speaking with my partner decided not to continue with this therapist. The argumentative tone under my review is tacky as well."

"The owner Shanice Edwards confirmed my child appointment for today at 5:15. My 12 year old child logged in at 5:10 for her 5:15 appointment after waiting over 1 month. Shanice, knew my child was waiting in the therapy area and she never showed up. She did however call me asking me to resend documents I sent 3 times already."
