"I would not recommend Ezeolisah to anyone. Her approach is prescriptive and not collaborative. Not once did she ask me if my current medications have worked for me or not and what I would like to change. Instead she decided for herself what I should prioritize. She refused to screen me for a diagnosis that I had already received from a previous psychiatrist and was already taking medication for. And for another diagnosis I was seeking she told me she can’t screen me for it but didn’t refer me to the provider who can. She came in to my appointment biased, claiming that ADHD is over diagnosed which is untrue, and refused to screen me for it. Instead of working together on my mental health, she decided everything I’m experiencing is caused by anxiety not ADHD even though I told her that ADHD has caused me anxiety and depression and is the main mental health concern of mine that impedes my day to day functions. She is a biased provider who has her own ideas of what her patients should and should not be treated for “under her care”. I was also concerned about patient confidentiality. It was a telehealth appointment and I could hear other people in the room with her. She had no headphones or AirPods on so everyone else in the room could hear our conversation. I would also not work with Lifestance again given how unorganized they are. Psychiatric care is not affordable even with insurance. The $60 I paid for this session did not give me the care, compassion, or understanding I needed. On Cigna she falsely claims that she treats ADHD, but after the appointment I’m wondering if that’s listed so that she can continue to deny patients seeking ADHD care diagnosis and treatment. I would not go back and would not recommend people looking for ADHD/autism care to go to her."
