"I am extremely impressed with the service we received at this location. The office staff is very kind and Dr. Dell McLaughlin is absolutely awesome. She’s very knowledgeable and even though we live two hours away, I will definitely be requesting her again if we need to come back. She took our situation seriously instead of just brushing us off and helped ease my fears so much. Thank you!"
"Quick service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Doctors took time to explain my questions."
"Absolutely amazing care for our daughter. The office staff was also helpful with almost zero waiting."
"Horrible experience! Daughter hurt her ankle at school and was in a lot of pain. I rushed out the house and grabbed her insurance card and my credit card. Called here right after picking her up and scheduled an appt. There were no wheelchairs downstairs to my surprise but the nicest lady from the x-ray Dept (total separate business) took the time to help me get my daughter out the car and even wheeled her upstairs. We made it right at 2:15 for her scheduled appt. The receptionist Debbie didn't greet us with a smile to anything. She asked me for my insurance card and was quick let me know that I had a $45 balance on my acct and couldn't be seen until it was payed. To my dismay I reached into my pockets only to not find any of them there. She reiterated she needed payment first. I was in distress but told her I would go check my car for them. I went and they weren't there as well. I asked if my daughter could still be seen and I call in the payment. I even attempted to call my oldest daughter to get my card number and then called my youngest school to see if I had possibly dropped them while picking her up. No luck. Debbie kept her unwelcoming face and quite rude tone the entire time and informed me I would have to reschedule. I told her I could go home to get the card and come right back being that I lived less than ten minutes away. She said it was too far into my appt time so I would have to reschedule. Mind you I just bought a child in that was previously screaming due to her foot pain, wheel chaired up and had no shoes on. I asked if she could check with the doctor to see if he/she would be willing to still be us. After waiting over 20 minutes in which i could have driven home and back a nurse Gail came and inform us that we couldn't be seen. My daughter was to be seen by Dr Marshall who refused to see us. I wasn't upset just kindly said ok at this point and kindly asked her if I could get a wheelchair to wheel my daughter to the car. She told me there were not any available. I responded, "really, an orthopedic office with no wheel chairs?" She then went on to say there were but in use. Mind you we had been in the office for about 45 minutes at this point and I had not seen a single wheelchair in use. I then said she's in pain and can't walk, how am I going to get her to the car. Gail had the audacity to reply "well, how did you get her up here." I told her it was the very accommodating x-ray facility on the first floor that was kind and pleasant enough to see us up and provide a wheelchair. I then replied, you're really telling me we can't get a wheelchair, we will wait until one is available. Well she must have dumped a patient out of one or something because within a minute here she sent another young lady out with a wheelchair. This young lady was so welcoming and friendly. She greeted us with the only smile we had experienced in the office besides some friendly patients. She even wheeled my daughter to the car while talking to and laughing with her. I vented a little about our treatment and she kept her beautiful smile and said how she was so sorry to hear. It was refreshing in the end as this young lady had such a warm spirit and I failed to get her name. I spent a 16 yr stint working in the medical field as a medical assistant and I can say that I have never witnessed the treatment we received. I was left to wonder if it had to do with my color or creed. Was it my head wrap? Was it because I had government insurance? What warranted this? Also being that I now have Medicaid for my daughter this visit as the office knows was completely covered. No possible balance would have been left. There was no compassion for our urgency. They completely turned us away. I returned home to find my cards on my garage floor. Immediately we drove over to Piedmont Urgent Care where we were treated with smiles, compassion, respect, and a wheelchair at the door. Note: This was not our first experience as we had a positive prior experience in 2015 but I also had BCBS insurance at that time."
"I saw Dr. Flanagan at Children's Orthopaedics of Atlanta at their Alpharetta location. What a great experience! The staff was friendly and welcoming and I was in and out really quickly. I saw Dr. Flanagan and she was very thorough and made sure to answer each of my questions. The whole staff seemed like they were loving their day - it seems like they truly love what they do."
