"Initially, I booked a 60-minute Swedish massage, but upon arrival, they asked for my preference again. Despite requesting a deep tissue massage and confirming the price at $80, the therapist didn't deliver the requested massage and disregarded my request to focus on my right shoulder. Additionally, the session lasted only 40 minutes instead of the full hour, with interruptions and the room door left slightly open. To top it off, they charged me $85 instead of the agreed $80."
"Cedar Massage is absolutely amazing! The front desk met you with a smile and kindness. The massage therapist, Henry, was a miracle worker! He gave me the best massage I have ever had! I left here completely stress and tension free. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!"
"This was one of the best massages/stretches I've had in quite sometime! As a truck driver I travel alot and go to many places and there's only 2 or 3 I will repeat visit. This will definitely be on my repeat visit list everytime I'm in Lithia Springs!"
"I recently went to this place, but I did not have a good experience. I arrived 5 mins early for my scheduled appointment, but I waited appx. 15 mins before someone started my massage. When I entered the room, I noticed a slight B.O. I probably should have left then, but I didn't. The masseuse walked into the room and stood a few inches away from me as she asked what type of massage I wanted. I thought it was a bit abrupt and confusing because I confirmed the type of massage, the expected duration, etc. when I scheduled the appointment. She started working, and I noticed the door was halfway open. I asked her to close it. I saw her walking to close the door, so I turned around to continue my massage. Later, I realized she only slightly closed it. I had to ask her several times to close the door. The massage was painful. I asked her to lighten up on certain parts of my body, but it was still unpleasant. When she was about 75% complete with the massage, I heard her and two other voices (the cashier and a male therapist) in my room. They started speaking to each other in their language. I was disturbed, and I had to ask them to close the door again. When I said this, the cashier and my masseuse walked out and closed the door. The male therapist remained and finished the massage. I tried to ask him why my masseuse left and he remained, but he did not understand what I was saying. When I checked out, I tried to explain to the cashier that I was uncomfortable with the door being open during the service because I was "exposed". She said they left the door open since 2020 because of COVID. They said it allowed alcohol to seep into the room. She also said that it was dark in the room and that nobody could see me. This response made no sense to me for several reasons, but I don't care to elaborate. I paid and left, but I will not return. I had high hopes because this place has such great reviews!"
"First time to this business, and very disappointed…for context; I grabbed a brochure few weeks ago and decided to give them a try…..I went in to get the foot with Upper extremities massage listed in both brochures (Cedar Massage/Gentle Massage)placed at the front. 2 female employees there indicated they could not honor what was listed in the brochures. Additionally, the massage was listed as $50 on the Gentle massage brochure and $40 on the Cedar massage brochure. I advised that they may want to do away with brochures because that is considered false advertisement."
