"All clients receive the cancellation policy in their intake packet. The policy is signed on the first visit. No appointments are scheduled without the client knowledge. However, appointments are scheduled in advance to accommodate clients request for late appointments because of school or parents work schedule. Every effort is made to accommodate those request. All APT Counseling Services, LLC ask is that clients call if you can't make the appointment. If a client cancels 5 minutes before their scheduled appointment or the day of the appointment, they are not charged a missed appointment fee. Our software system send out reminders to clients the day before appointments. The agency is able to review the date and time all reminders are sent out to clients. The fail reminders are always highlighted in red. To my many clients and new referrals I receive on a daily basis, APT Counseling Services, LLC appreciate your business and will continue to treat you all with the upmost respect."

"Our sessions with Dr. Pass-Turner never felt productive in any way, and always ended with us having to schedule an appointment for another session. However, my main complaint with Dr. Pass-Turner’s practice is being charged a missed appointment fee for an appointment I wasn’t notified about. When we had our previous session Dr. Pass-Turner specifically told us that we had no future scheduled sessions and that she would like to schedule one more session with us. When we received a notification call about that scheduled session we were also informed that we had missed a session and owed them $45! What a surprise! We called her office and explained the situation thinking that it was a silly mistake and that it would be taken care of. That was not the case. We were told that the doctor said she informed us of that “missed” appointment at our previous session and would be required to pay the fine. This was another surprise to us seeing as she had said the exact opposite at our session three weeks prior. Needless to say, we canceled the appointment that we had scheduled and will not be giving anymore money to her practice through our insurance. She lost all credibility with how she handled this situation. As a result, it has made her appear extremely greedy and dishonest. This is just my personal opinion as a result of my interactions with her. In conclusion, I would not recommend this doctor and have already requested a referral to a different doctor due to this experience."
