BenchMark Physical Therapy

"Mike the physical therapist at this location is stellar, this review is by no means directed at him or his capabilities. I'm on Meducare and my co-pays were debited to my account at every visit. 3 months completing my therapy, I received a bill from Medserv, the company that handles their billing. I called immediately to find out what was going on. I was told the copay was not collected and that's why I had a balance. I sent her receipts from my bank showing they were indeed paid. The next month, I received another threatening letter, when I called I was told that the receipt dates they asked for were the wrong dates! BTW, it takes at least 30 minutes of hold time for anyone there to answer the phone if they answer at all. All of it is so shady. Proceed at your own risk!"

"My experience in the actual clinic was good. Benchmark as an organization has failed to meet any level of professionalism or demonstrate the ability to conduct business in an effective manner. During my time while receiving services I was mailed bills for innaccurate amounts even though I payed in full each visit out of pocket; no insurance was involved. I required my time to remedy the incorrect billing each time. Two months after finishing treatment at the location I reached out to the clinic to get an invoice for the 6 weeks of visits with no response. I then contacted Benchmark customer service. The customer service agent informed me I could not be given an invoice since I owed for my initial evaluation. I explained I payed out of pocket each visit and that was not accurate. I verified while on the phone with them my credit card statement showed I had indeed payed in full at the evaluation. To remedy the situation I was told to send a picture of the credit card payment and they would have a response for me in 1-15 days. The entire customer service and billing experience has been continuous incompetence. There are much better run and led organizations to choose over Benchmark based upon this experience."

"Tried calling in to schedule a client for an initial appointment and the front desk receptionist gave me MAJOR attitude. She was not pleasant at all. She was VERY sarcastic as I was being very polite trying to understand what it was she was asking me fore in order to get the patient scheduled. I ended up telling her I will call another PT. There must be something about these Peachetree locations b/c this was the second PT I called who was extremely RUDE in that area! It is causing you all to loose out on business. The clinic director Mark asked me to call him directly to discuss this further and I did. He must have thought the receptionist had me on hold and she did not and I could clearly hear him say "what does she want" and someone called me insane. I see why the staff is rude b/c the leadership there is just as bad."

"The staff at Benchmark PT at 2255 Peachtree is excellent. Michael Simmons creates the specific, unique variety of exercise routines and treatment to address your specific problems. I am so glad to have this resource available and covered by my insurance."

"I cannot say enough great things about this physical therapy office. It really does feel like a family. Jessica at the front desk is always positive and knows my voice on the phone. She knows how to bring a smile to my face even if I had a bad day before coming in. Erin is my physical therapist and she knows how to help my shoulder get to where it needs to be. She is very encouraging and helps modify exercises so I'm not in unnecessary pain. She also always helps to accommodate if something comes up in my schedule. When she had to be out for a couple of weeks, physical therapists from different locations cane to help. I was so impressed because they were also wonderful! That was amazing because I didn't have to worry even though my regular therapist was out. Stephanie at the same location is also so nice but she is not my therapist. Her patients really seem to love her. I am very happy with my decision to come here and when I had surgery it was no question that I would come here for my post surgery therapy. Love them!"
