"all entries are out side. stairs are outside. no elevator, so 3 floors walk up, trash is in middle of complex and often overflowing."
"This is a weird set up for an apartment complex, but it does have a playground"
"So far has been an excellent place to live. All maintenance issues have been taken care of really quickly. Convenient location near almost everything you'd need on a daily basis. Great community to live in. Electric and gas heat are pretty cheap. My electric was $109 for the first month and gas heat was $35 for December. Office staff are super friendly and happy to answer any and all questions as well as offer advice. I highly recommend it."
"I lived here for a year and a half in the first building. I worked night shift. Hardly saw my neighbors. I never used the amenities in the office building. The pool was nice if there wasn't a ton of kids. I hate bugs and I never saw any gross bugs just the occasional spider. Bug exterminator people come every two months anyway. I had a three bedroom. Great amount of space. W/D hookups. I thought it was weird that the kitchen and bathroom countertops were painted. Also the fridge seemed old and didn't have an ice maker but it did the job. Staff were very friendly, never had issues there. You make payments online which was very nice. Very convenient area to live. People definitely smoke weed around there, you can just smell it every so often. The trash area is gross and feel bad for the maintenance men. I cleaned out my entire apartment and got my down payment back."
"Sable Point is moderate a best. If you pay your rent on time and keep to yourself it isn't so bad. There's a mediocre playground, but this not a child friendly complex. The staff is accommodating to children, especially with their after school program, but that doesn't change the attitude and accountability of some of it's inhabitants. Staff is friendly enough and if you were good to the maintenance staff they helped you when you needed it. The pool was never open the entire 8mths we lived there, and it was rumored to not have been opened for 2 yrs before we moved in. There was always some excuse as to why they couldn't open it. The staff circle in and out of there faster than a revolving door. Once they have someone reliable and compassionate they leave because of upper management or they realize the size of the mess they just stepped in. It COULD be a great complex, but that is years off and only if the area provides more low income housing to accommodate the growing number of the like. I would say this is best as temporary housing and nothing more, the longer you stay the more you take on of its awful reputation. Management truly does try to change the complex for the better, but it's always one step forward and three back for this place."
