"Don't stay here unless you want your privacy invaded. Demanding to come in your room every day for a "wellness" check."

"The staff was rude and difficult to deal with. They Insisted on cleaning the room each day of my 2 week stay ignoring the "do not disturb" order though I worked nights and was trying to sleep, keeping the door propped open for a solid half hour in the middle of winter, and banging on the door repeatedly, not only to clean the room but a supervisor coming by later to wake me up and check that the employees cleaned. Rooms were infested with cockroaches and extremely insulated with a constant draft under the door(which had obviously been knocked in several times)."

"Never ever again, floor was filthy, shower had hair in it and used hairy soap still in the dish. I carry my own toiletries which is good because aside from bar soap, none were offered. Hotel I usually stay in was full so I obviously picked wrong. Next time I'll sleep in my vehicle before I use Motel 6"

"It appears the hotel may have recently become Motel 6. Its apparent renovation is taking place there . My room couldn’t have been nicer .. far exceeded my expectations for the price charged .. the family who manage it are all very mannerly …. It’s also just a few minutes from the highway and an easy commute to either city .. Charleston and Huntington …"
