"While this is an extremely challenging workout, the atmosphere/culture here is just not for everyone. 1) The music is loud and instruction hard to hear. 2) The very dark environment made it difficult to see other students and attempt to mirror them (when I could not hear what the instruction was calling me to do) 3) I personally don't need to be motivated along verbally with raised voice instruction I'm sure as you learn the basic moves it becomes easier to follow along but I found the loudness and darkness agitating. What I did like? The equipment, how it was used, the level of challenge... ALL Wonderful. I wish they would allow a more "normal" Pilates style environmnet for some classes so we could get the physical benefits solidcore can offer without feeling overstimulated and unnerved. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is not a fan of loud music and loud instruction."
"Had my first class today with Emily as coach. It was amazing. As someone who does CrossFit l, Barry’s boot camp, etc this kicked my butt. Definitely plan to return. Music was amazing too, extra points for Victoria Monet!"
"Absolutely LOVE solidcore. The best group class workout you can possibly do that literally never gets easier bc you can always make it harder. It is impossible not to get stronger from this workout. I also love this location and the staff there. Midtown location is equally as good. Just great people and a motivating atmosphere! Sign up!!"
"Studio Manager Domonique is GREAT!!! She made sure to complete my order so I could use my gift card for items. She Even made me WANT TO COME BACK TO THE STUDIO TO TRY CLASSES!!! I recommend her to the fullest. And I will be back to try classes once I get myself right."
