"Great events professional staff and ems on standby overall great experience"
"Matches were supposed to start at 8:00, but by 9:00 nothing but an emcee who sounds like he's talking through a pillow. Doors opened at 6:30!!! Absolutely a waste of time and money."
"We had a blast at the Toughman Contest. We will visit again."
"I just watch it on TV, it's one of my favorite things to watch now.. Sometimes it's pretty funny, but I have to take my hat off to the competitors because it takes a lot of guts to get in the Ring and fight in front of so many people.."
"I was lucky enough to compete in the WV Toughman Contest 4 times, becoming a light weight champion for 3 of those years and a runner-up for one. I fought under my maiden name, three times in Wheeling and once in Parkersburg. I also had a wonderful time as a ring girl for two years. I loved the people I met training, my coaches and gym mates, meeting the fighters, becoming acquainted with other training gyms, and the people who worked there putting on the show. I enjoy watching the fights tremendously as well. Some of the best times of my life were had both training and fighting. I retired at 39 content with a record of 8-1. I was very thankful for the opportunity."
