"My kids went there over a year. Our new therapist (Sterlling Tindel) isn't professional. I asked to speak privately about some issues, and the discussion was held in the hallway in front of office staff. She recommended a higher frequency of visits, which I booked for telehealth. This caused a conflict with my ex-husband. I had to email her twice to get a response that she recommended the frequency (in case I had to recoup the money through court). She later attempted to cancel my 2 children's appointments with less than 24 hr notice. I was able to get her to meet with one child (I understood it to be an hour telehealth session). My child said the therapist cut her off at 30 minutes. Later, I emailed to inquire about a text that I received. I still have not had a response to that email. I've pulled my kids from Agape. I'm very disappointed with them."
"My son had been going to Agape for two years until this week. We have been seeing Dr. Stephen Belasco the entire time. My son was having issues at school due to ADHD and he was starting to show behavior issues, and when we were referred to Agape, I, of course, was nervous. Not only having to face backlash from those who do not believe in ADHD or diagnosis period, but I was just nervous for him. There is nothing wrong with him, but mental health is important, and essential. It got to the point where we would had to pull him out of school and homeschool him for the rest of the year. I was desperate but did not want him to suffer or be disciplined for something that was out of his control. After my son's FIRST visit, he loved Doctor Stephan and looked forward to seeing him again. Agape is overall a wonderful place to help your child thrive, but Dr. Stephan has helped tremendously turn my child's behavior around. Two years later my son has not had a single issue at school. He is focusing better on school and adjusting his emotions. He is still his funny, little self, but overall, his attitude toward things is different. We as parents are equipped to raise our children, but we cannot fix everything on our own. Or I could not and did not want to. I did not want him to resent me or put a strain on our relationship because that can affect trust and boundaries. I am forever grateful for the staff, and Doctor Stephan's help. Do not let stereotypes or other people's pointless opinions stop you, you and your child deserve it."
"We are so thankful for Agape. Dr. Pittman and Tim have walked with us through the most difficult times in our lives. Thanks to their help and support, my son is living a life I didn’t think was going to be possible."
"My son Andrew has been a patient of Dr. Pittman's for several years now. When we started, Andrew had several severe behavior issues related to his autism. Dr. Pittman was able to stabilize my son's behavior with medication and his behaviors have remained under control for a long while now. Dr. Pittman is very knowledgeable and very caring. We highly recommend him. Without Dr. Pittman's help, I am not sure that my son could have remained in the home setting."
