"Great place to help cheerleaders and tumblers."
"I had put my daughter in the intermediate class. She went for about 6 months. In that time period she didn't learn much more than she already knew. She taught herself how to do a cartwheel, the "easier" stuff. The one male coach was ALWAYS in a bad mood. My daughter is very social, happy, and funny and he never smiled or said hello back to her. He would only focus on the girls that already knew how to do the "harder" stuff. Neither of the coaches would show the kids how to do anything either. They just sat there, either talking to each other or texting. There were quite a few times the unhappy male coach was asked by my daughter how or what to do and he would just say watch everyone else. Mind you,she was in a class with 2-3 other kids,so there was plenty of time to give one on one help. My final straw with NCA was when she had to do the back walk over. That's the one thing she couldn't ever do. He told her "I don't know why you can't do this. It's the easiest thing here to do. You're just not trying then" . My daughter takes gymnastics very seriously and was,at some point, wanting to get to competetive level, and he ruined that for her. That bummed her out,and really made her have a complex. I tried to ignore his attitude and him ignoring her questions, but once that was said, I pulled her out and we will be going elsewhere. I have heard nothing but terrible things about NCA's "coaches". Never once did I see ANY of them SHOWING the kids what and how to do. All I saw was then sitting and texting. It's very unfortunate kids go in thinking they're going to learn and have a fun time, and then they don't get any of that."
"Nice place for tumbling"
