"Our connection with Kruti Dance Academy has been flourishing every year. We have just completed another great year with a colorful and mind-blowing recital. It all started when my elder daughter began her dance journey at Kruti Dance Academy nine years ago. Initially, it was just another extracurricular activity, but very soon it became her passion. After witnessing her sister's remarkable performance in the recital, my younger daughter also expressed her desire to join Kruti Dance Academy. We are incredibly grateful that our daughters have the opportunity to learn from such great gurus, Dina Auntie, and Shemoni. Beyond dance techniques, Kruti Dance Academy has taught them valuable life lessons, including time management, teamwork, creativity, and so much more. The academy instilled discipline, commitment, and organizational skills in their work. Through dance, our daughters have developed a deeper connection with their Indian culture. Additionally, the volunteering opportunities at Kruti helps the student develop teaching skills, public speaking abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Every year, we are astonished by the meticulous planning, beautiful costumes, choreography, and overall organization of the recital. We are extremely proud of our elder daughter, as she will be completing her arangetram this summer. We are eagerly looking forward to that special day and celebrating her achievement."

"I simply don’t know how to find the words to express about our experience at Kruti. Our journey at Kruti started over 18 years ago when my daughter Angel was enrolled. Initially it was very difficult to commute and to fully understand the intricacy behind the ancient dance form. However, Angel found so much passion and was intrigued in the way Dina Aunty taught the beautiful art form of Bharatnatyam, that it became worthwhile. A few years later, we enrolled Karina in the studio as well and soon both our daughters were spending every weekend at the academy. Every moment at Kruti was enjoyable and fun, but also always was filled with personal growth. The leadership, guidance and teaching skills from Dina Aunty and Shemoni Didi also influenced our girls to be motivated, strong, and to collaborate with their peers to solve problems. The creative mind of their artistic director Shemoni Parekh has helped them develop and given them so much confidence. Dance helped our girls with valuable life lessons that were necessary and will be with them for eternity. I don’t believe they could have achieved such disciplinary, time management, and leadership skills like they learned at Kruti. In simple words my business experience believes what they don’t teach at Harvard, is taught at Kruti. Angel completed her Arangetram in 2017, and that was the best memory that ever happened in our life. The smile, and the happiness that journey brought was truly felt from the heart and was simply priceless! We are now looking forward to Karina’s Arangetram in July of this year. We are also very excited but feeling nostalgic that this will be the last Kruti Recital our daughter is performing in. The recitals always bring a feeling of joy and are immensely showing off the hard work the students put in. Every parent can be seen beaming with joy as they watch their child perform. No feeling can match that and it is thanks to Kruti that we as parents get to experience this surreal feeling. Not just in the dancing, but the decoration, the efficiency, and the entire feel is always above and beyond. The costumes especially are always so beautiful and elegant. In all the costumes, you can see the time and effort that goes into planning them. The costumes represent the theme in a way that no one has seen before. When the dance unfolds on stage, the audience can see why the costume adds to it. It is also wonderful how Kruti always offers parents and students a choice to participate in the recital. Kruti ensures that each recital is a memorable experience and it tops the last in a way you could never have imagined. The theme carefully captures an important glimpse of the world. Kruti always ensures that the students learn the importance of the theme. They can then teach those around them and spread the important message not just through their dancing, but also through their words. Our girls always said they have 2 homes: Monday to Friday at our house but their weekend home was at Kruti. Our sincere respect and thanks to Dina aunty, Shemoni didi and the whole Kruti team for their continuing great innovative ideas. We feel so proud that our kids got the privilege to learn under Kruti Dance Academy and that will be the greatest assets kids will have for their journey in future."
